  5. Yep Clinic know their stuff i've been using them since 2003, they've never put a foot wrong for me Your standard gearbox will take over 300bhp it's how you drive it i have a friend had a uk turbo, 2.5l upgrade 380bhp, bags of torque, standard gearbox no problem however if you drive like you nicked it, 5k launches at every stop line etc etc you can kiss it bye bye
  6. Clinic can map your car whatever you have fitted, if your thinking of a remap the you'll save money to fit all your mod's first then remap last. Saying that full decat without a remap can cause problems and you won't get the full benefit either. My car see's 341bhp on clinics rollers with that exhaust and a full decat amongst a few other bits Deffo worth doing you'll see upto 280 i'd of thought without major changes, my old uk turbo on a Td04 turbo did 287bhp
  7. Got one on my STi certainly not as loud as a Blitz but it's loud enough without being over the top, very well made to no trouble with it and mines been fitted a few years now
  8. When are you around for this matey. Theres people in the Midlands area from both those towns that can help you. Theres also the Midlands meet tomorrow just outside Nottingham and last but not least theres Carnetix in Melton who might be able to help.

  13. Hi Phil Basically it would be great if people could sign the the get well message section we have set up here Get Well messages no need to register just click the add reply button, messages will be updated once cleared by a moderator. Or better still make a donation on the same link. Our thoughts were that we'd like to help in any way we can losing your abilty to earn is pretty worrying especially as they are a couple it's a double blow, they both have a steep hill to climb and the emotional scars will take much longer through something that they had no control over and were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.
  14. Bit of an update regarding Cheryl and Aaron as one of the midlands gang has been to visit them Cheryl has been transfered from the i.c.u to a ward which is a step down from i.c.u she no longer requires an oxegen mask as all her vitals are stable , she was due another op this afternoon to stitch her hand and to look at the situation on her feet but from just talking to her they have decided that at this moment there is no need to do any more work there which i guess she is very releived about the update on aaron is not so good , visitors were refused permission to see him on sunday so the trip was made today , to see them both but was told he was in surgery for internal bleeding he did come out around 2pm but was returned to the i.c.u heavily sedated all i can say on this issue is lets all pray and hope aaron fights his way through this awfull ordeal and gets himself back to full fitness ,
  15. Hi folks thanks to everyone for the messages and pm's. I've set up a special message section on Midland Scoobies forum for people to pass on any comments so please pay us a visit and add some comments, no need to register. the Section is here Get well soon wishes Also for anyone that would like to help by donating then please visit here Donations lastly i thought i'd add this picture, it taken at the recent midlands santa cruise in aid of Derby Childrens Hospital. Both Cheryl and Aaron both very keen to get into the spirit of the day, Cheryl was of course driving when the accident happened. Lots of TV crews around today reports although still sketchy and i think unconfirmed but they are all saying that the other car a Seat lost control on the bend hit the kerb and then left it's side of the road into the path of Chez and Aaron as they rounded the blind bend coming the other way.
  16. Hi folks Yes as Andy said they are members on Midland Scoobies. There a thread here Midland Scoobies Forum From the skechy info Chez can remember the Sky news version is correct, she remembers rounding the bend and then being hit be the other car who was on the wrong side of the carridgeway. Both Chez and Aaron are still in intensive care multiple broken bones as you would expect. That piece of road is about 5 minutes from me and has seen more people planted cars in hedges than i care to remember.

  21. Well the day is done and i really hope everyone had fun, there were some great costumes out there. I really hope that those who came along for the first time saw that making a difference just from owning a car can be very rewarding and very worthwhile. The kids faces really do say it all, especially the young lad with the tinsel on his bed. I spoke to the stig afterwards and it's made his year to see the lads face The Hospital were very very gratefull for everything we bought with us, they are always in need. I know in an ideal world a Hospital shouldn't have to wait for people to bring the things they need, but this world isn't ideal. No real hickups except the hospital front parking due to missing security guard not making room, but aside from that all went to plan. They never did find him Big thanks to everyone that came along today, dressed up, fought off the embarressment donated, bought from the auction, made bids on the auction and everyone who made the whole day possible. Big thanks to the following companies and individuals who through their support and very generous donations the day was possible, so in no particular order..... Scoobyclinic Scoobyworld HT Auto's Forge Motorsport Paul and the Bubble Inn Mr Carpenter (Gregs Dad) The R.A.F R.A Imports (Derby) Execspec Chris P The Booze Donatees Greg (For excellent fund raising) Raggy (For the Cuddly Toys) And everyone else who made a donation to the cause So as some already know we shall be making a revisit because well i havn't counted what we made yet but we deffinatley made more than we spent although we got the Hospital everything they asked for and more, so i thought it might be a nice idea to return maybe at easter with some more for the kids with the money we have left over so watch this space Didn't get any pictures of my own due to wearing the big red suit so looking forward to seeing what people have. Have pinched a few from others so everyone can see what was what The hospital are sending us a copy of their in house magazine with our pictures in, i shall also be speaking to the local papers in Derby once i have some pictures to send them. More pictures are here http://midlandscoobies.invisionzone.com/in...php?showforum=7 So what does stig drive
  22. I never got the first one, signed up and paid up at JAE last i heard, forgot all about it untill the other day
