Spent yesterday doing a few wee bits and bobs to the new motor. Fitted STI tailights,STI front splitter,STI grille badge, Forge dumpvalve, fixed a few other things that werent working inside too. Just need some more power now as shes a bit slow after the type r, handling is a lot better though! Col.

Thats the problem with forums, probably walked passed tons of people from here yesterday but havent a clue what most of you look like!

I got shot of the Type R on Monday to a friend of mine, as most of you know i had quite a few problems with the car when i bought it and although these were all sorted before i sold it I never really felt i could trust it. New owner seems very pleased thank god, even likes the way the back end steps out on you without warning, another reason why i got rid of it! But all is not lost, got myself a very near mint X-reg classic from a good friend of mine Mark (markymark on here). Well pleased with it, a fair bit slower than the 3 door but a lot more predictable on the road and still got a bit of poke. Only problem now is I seem to have caught the modding bug again after not modding the type r one bit! ordered a couple of wee cosmetic bits but i know theres a fuel pump...regulator...downpipe....front mount..etc with my name on it!! http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forums/thread/898027.aspx Colin.

Clio sport race car Stephen, Gillian butcher(knockhill owners daughter) is racing it in one make race series this year, 20k from renault. 205bhp, 6 speed sequential gearbox, was spitting flames on the overrun, great looking wee car its just a pity the road going version has awful steering as I found out the other week when i drove one.

Very moving, was a black weekend for F1. Surprised how long it took for medical help to reach Senna, nobody even approached the car after the crash.

No crashes today, all pretty well behaved !

Another car Grant?! I'm no expert but uprating the rear brakes is probably a waste of money unless you are going to drive everywhere flat out in reverse!

Be careful when fitting your sunstrip, make sure it doesnt come too far down your screen as it will fail an MOT like mine did until i ripped it off!
