About Scooby Spike

  1. Can post a link if anyone want's them done for £49 - £59 for just the decals, extra's optional.
  2. Granby, Thanks for posting the photo's on this thread to be viewed 100% as they should be - Thanks for all the good comments, was a little worried to start off with that the wagon would not go down well with swrt decals, but really wanted to do this, as never ever seen a wagon with swrt decals before (until now ) and love it to bit's. I have showed my father the thread as well, as he also helped in the attaching of the decals and is well please with the comment - 'STI TYPE R dorset - well fitted also!! couldnt do better myself!' In the next couple of months I will be changing the indicaters to clear and this will make the front end look even better. Will post some photo's one the sun strips are completed. Claire - scoobymadburd - maybe the 555 decal kit???? Again cheer's for the comments.
  3. << I like it a lot you have gave me an idea for our wagon but i want something with a twist, if you know what i mean??? Claire >> What twist - lost me sorry!
  4. The backdrop is at Culver Cliff, on the Isle of Wight, about 5 mins away from where we live and am glad that Andy T - that you like it. Am not sure, but is mine the 1st Wagon with Rally Decals?
  5. My father & myself completed the project on last Monday and am well pleased with it. My partner keeps saying that peoples mouths drop when they see it and I have yet to see it for myself as driving. I have just got to attach the sun strips + last two decals onto the sun strips and it is 100% done. What do you guy's think? P.S can someone please do me a fav and post the pic's in a thread with the before and afters please as am not sure how to do these still - thanks.
  6. PC memory, but there are places for that sort of thing - not on a scooby forum! P.S I brought Windows XP 64-bit Edition and is not worth transfering over yet, due to the lack of driver support! - will have near on full support over the next couple of months - but microsoft do not tell people that - nor the supply peps! Should have saved the £107 (with P&P) and got something for the scooby! Lession learnt.
  7. Really hot day today, so of we went to do the swoosh + bit's. So hot infact that after three hours my girlfriend came out to see how we where doing, only to find that my neck was as red as peppers! Will be doing the other side 2moz, so will make sure that I don't wear my sun glasses - don't want panda eyes!
  8. The Ferrari Formula 1 Team fired their entire pit crew yesterday. This announcement followed Ferrari's decision to take advantage of the British Government's "Work for the Dole" scheme and employ Liverpudlian chaps. The decision to hire them was brought on by a recent documentary on how unemployed youths from Toxteth were able to remove a set of wheels in less than 6 seconds without proper equipment, whereas Ferrari's existing crew could only do it in 8 seconds with millions of pounds worth of high tech equipment. It was thought to be an excellent, bold move by the Ferrari management, as most races are won and lost in the pits, giving Ferrari an advantage over every team. However, Ferrari got more than they bargained for. At the crew's first practice session, not only was the scouse pit crew able to change the tyres in under 6 seconds but within 12 seconds they had re-sprayed, re-badged and sold the vehicle over to the McLaren team for 8 cases of Stella, a bag of weed and some photos of Coulthard's bird in the shower. Thought people might like this
  9. stevebt, I agree with you, I also have moments where I think that there might be something wrong with the car and have to ask my girlfriend is it still kicking in right! I even drove her MG ZR the other day and came back down to earth with a thump! It was nothing like my scooby and don't think I could ever go back to another car again.
  10. nudger , would have done a photoshop, but had a great day with lot's of hot sun and got to work on it today. Got everything on now, apart from the swoosh + shadows + stars + number panels + race names, it looks great and will be the dog's when the swoosh(s) is are done + stars. Take your time if you are doing them yourself - don't rush. Will have photo's buy next week with any luck - after a good wash up before the camra comes out.
  11. I wake yesterday to find that the postman had brought me my decals I checked over the decals and they are mad of really good vine. All the adjustments and extra's had all been done. Am well impressed with this guys service. Worth a look into if you want decals of any kind. All I am waiting for now is better weather
  12. All paid for and has been cut and with luck now in the post The wagon's c-pillars are slightly smaller than on sal versions and asked him to drop the size down a little so that they would fit with no problems - which has all been done The guy is great with his help and was cutting the decals out before I had even paid him - thats trust and also great communication from both parties. If you don't want the WRC he does some other versions for the scooby as well. Will post photo's once they have been TLC'ed onto the scoob
  13. << in your photoshop pic it has the light blue shadow find out if this comes with it! >> It's just the decails taken from the WRC and photoshoped onto my scooby, I checked to make sure that the decails will come with no background, just the sticker and is just the sticker - which is great. So no blue background.
