  3. Hi, yeah count me and my wife in, won't be staying for long I'm affraid because the kids like to go to bed not long after that but still, should be fun.
  4. oooh, go to graham goode website for a brake down of each servicing and whats involved. it is sorta my servicing bible http://www.grahamgoode.com/Subaru-Shed.pdf
  5. Im sure the normal price is around £240 for a cambelt change. but budget for the tensioner whis is about anothe £120 ish I got a discount for buying both at the same time. but i didnt get a SIDC discount like you would at simpsons. servicing - well I do my own, but things like cambelts I leave to the pro's, oh and spark plugs but thats just because im lazy and cant be bothered to take out tanks etc lol.
  6. I have heard good things about Simpsons Subaru in Wiltshire, but i allways use Cotswolds Subaru, only becuase the main techy there, Drew is a God amongst men when it comes to scooby knowledge. But they are, as allways expensive.
  7. Thanks for the reply, will have a look into that one
  8. 40 views and no answers???
  9. Your standard boost selonoid will do the job. Bleed valves are not very good mate, I got a spring and ball bearing type boost controller, only because my boost selonoid has failed and couldnt see the point in buying a new one from Subaru at £100 when a dawes device for £30 will do a near similar job. I am not running a massive boost increase at all and it works fantastically. There are plenty of good options on Ebay for £25. good luck. Charlie
  10. Hi guys and gals, I live in Lyneham, Wiltshire and need a cheap rolling road, just to get my bhp figures. Maybe its me getting used to the car, but the car still does not feel like its pulling in the same way as when I bought it, so I need hard proof. Just changed my boost gauge to psi and I am reading peak 15psi, sits at 13.5 psi. Thanks in advance. Charlie
  11. thanks for that, will give him a ring.
  12. I am going to do most of the service my self, oil/filters etc leaving plugs and belts to the pro's though. still thinking of making the effort to go to scooby clinic next time I visit family in Sheffield.... they want £165 for new belt fitted...not bad...?
  13. Thanks for that, there is no mention on his web site though of services or prices... anybody else any ideas it would be muchly appreciated.
  14. My car is due its 90,000 mile service shortly and being new to the south west area don't exactly know where is the best value and best place to take it. I was originally going to travel up to Chesterfield to scooby clinic but after leaving several phone messages and never getting back to me I decided not to go with them. Anyone got any other good experiences locally. Cheers Charlie
