I will get a look good at work tonight if the operator can keep the machines going, only had time to skip though it today!! You can keep driving if you can prove that you have need of a car, ie it would put your job at risk and the offences were not dangers. A work mate had to go and plea for his licence a few Years back when he amassed more than the 12 points. He was working for Siemens Telecomm at the time and His Boss appealed to the Judge to allow Him to continue driving as it was part of His job.

I know it has been a long wait between issues but they have all been top notch to date. I have renewed my sub to the Mag (did it over the phone, a Years sub), and as long as the content is good I don't see the point in rushing it out. That said the Email reminder said they were hoping to be a little more regular from the next issue so some good news there. And I would suspect the advertisers may want to see the Mag out as well, as I assume they are paying for advertising space in it. So hopefully it will soon be the Monthly Mag we were all waiting for!

My God, you do not let the Monkeys in Quikfit near your car do you? They may have wiped the old filter with a rag to remove any dirt and then overfilled the oil to make it look like a service!!

Anyone recommend a MAF friendly induction kit, and is there any improvement over the K@N panel filter that I have in the car already? I have a 1996 Impreza Turbo 2000 AWD EJ20 Engine with no Engine mods except a large bore tail pipe and the K@N.

Top Gear did the Scooby/EVO shoot out a while back. The EVO was found to be the better track car but the Scooby was the better Road car. All the chap agreed they would take the Scooby any day, same when Mr Clarkson tested the fast Focus, in Wales. The camera man ended up driving the Ford Home and Mr Clarson took the Scooby!

Sorry to hear that, I work Nights so I Know all about being left out when it comes to Works partes. The Night shift lads have our own, sod the rest of em! We usually start back on the 1st of Jan at 11pm but got some holidays in this Year so I am off the 2 Weeks after New Year, servicing the car and MOT, bit of work around the House and a few Sunday Night Beers with the Wife (My 1st shift of the Week is always on a Sunday Night), but I have to work 3 Nights between Xmas and New Year though. Impressive, considering the complex systems and AWD on the car, just imagine if these had been built by BL (or any Italian firm). You can see why the Japs have buried the British car industry, which is ironic as according to a Mr J Clarkson on Sky TV we helped rebuild the Jap car industry after WW2. Same to with VW I think........

Did a search on Google and only found a few faults reported for the cars and None for a 96 car! Are the New ones still built to the same standards?

Had a problem with my classic Angel, turned out ot be the power to the USB ports, had to much running on the PC at the same time and when the Angel powered up there was not enough left to power the Modem and other bits. In the end I got a dedicated modem from Blackspot and by passed the PC. Not had a problem since.......... hope this may be of help.

The pic of the Bug Eye with the light conversion is nice, now I could own that, just shows how a small detail change can make or break a car......

Classic, my car is a 95 reg on a N plate, pre bonnet face lift car, one of the early UK cars with optinal leather. The only ones I would not buy are the Bug eye (unless it has Head Lamp kit fitted).I have even got used to the face lift on the new car after seeing one on the TV, but would love to own a real 22B.

If they go ahead with the new car I can see a rise in demand for the older ones, prices for the Impreza may be on the up in 2007. If I were to look for a new car it would have to be one of the ones on sale now or an older car,unless they do a major redesign on the design mule shown in Jtuner...

Read Jan 2006 JTunner and there is an article about the new Impreza on page 24 @ 25, it looks like both the EVO and Impreza as we know them are to be killed off in 2007, they have small pictures of what may be the new cars on page 24, both look hideous, the Evo being slightly better looking, the Impreza replacement looks like a Seat Ibiza hatch copy. Someone please say it ant so, I think we need ot join forces with the EVO boys and write some E-mail's to both companies before they go bust from loosing all their customers........

I would not bother taking it any further, most likely all you will get is a load of verbal from the Idiot. I lived of a council estate most of my life and if this nut is typical of most of the idiot's that I grew up with then He will just laugh it you. The Wife had hassle when She used to learn to drive in our load car, an Opel Manta GTE. The number of times I had to calm her down after some t*t cut us up was unbelievable, and when She lost it and gave them the `V` sign it just made things worse, you then get them slamming on their brakes and swerving around in front of you, believe me, I have seen it! I would just drop it and be happy in the knowledge that one day the nutter will end up in a wall or ditch, you cannot drive like that and expect to live a long and happy life............. An L plate is like a Red flag to a bull to these People.

Do the Police play Car Snooker or is it an urban legend? A friend at work reckoned that they do, stop a red car, go for a colour, stop an other red, and so on until they have potted all the reds and then work there way through the rest for the colours. ... if so it would be a good idea to pick a white car, no one wants to pot the White ball....

That's my point, why are products that do not work being linked to the site? Gives credence to poor products, maybe Scooby Mag could do an issue to test out some of these things, one a Month Maybe (When I comes out once a Month, that is ) We have all heard about claims for various devices for our cars, but which ones actually work?
