  1. i voted hillington. I hope the secret service dont come round to my mansion and leave me sitting blindfolded in front of an episode of river city at volume LOUD till i confess why i voted the place with the great seating arrangement, closer to most of us and nicer staff
  2. welcome to the club. where are you from and what are you going to do to the best scoob on the road?
  3. anymore attendees for this meet next week?
  4. WR Blue Y303 Bugeye wrx with sti style spoiler on the expressway between McDonalds at EK and the strathaven roundabout. Nice car
  5. they come in silver yes Vicki. The sizes you would need to check to find out if they would fit. im not sure off the top of my skull. Have a search about online for Prodrive GC10E alloys. Theyre not cheap
  6. dont wanna see your post just vanishing away. personally i accelerate towards the bend. right hander- keep accelerating........brake just before the bend.....keeping well in left........accelerate from the minute my braking finishes. left hander- " "...............come out wide with your gearbox on the white lines.....brake just before the bend.....accelerate through OR As i personally use when diriving hard- left foot on the brake and same principles but gently use both peddles all the way round the corner if required. the time between lifting off the gas and braking and lifting off sideways is now eradicated cos both are covered giving you good balancing. Someone driving behind you thinks when they see your brakelights that your braking on the corner. you are in a way...but your controlling a well balanced car all the way round. Practise the left footing somewhere quite to begin or youll headbutt the windscreen
  7. cheers mate, just new and a bit different. ill get used to them
  8. Im not sure what size the spacers are, i think they are 5mm.
  9. someones buying the sti wheels that arent scuffed lol....i hope he still wants them?? or i will just paint them white and rip around the track with them
  10. i like the way 17's agree with my driving style at times. i do also like the look of 18's on the newage scoobs. I intend to use these for the next few months then purchase 18's on a really excellent set of rims. these ones will then be used only for the track this summer and the winter. I still like the GC10's that are from japan and on the wrc tarmac motor. something like this is what ive always wanted to get and will be a few months away
  11. saved me sending them back, waiting in for spacers to be signed for and saved me falling over htem in the hallway everyday i dont know if i like them though (on the car)
  12. spacers fitted, wheels on.
  13. I need to use a ramp for a short while to carry out a small piece of work. Can anyone help??
  14. yes Callum the Karting has now been taken over by Dave and everything should be sorted soon for that event.
  15. Other than being lower than a rattlesnakes belly there is the other problem with the new springs- the are very very firm and you need to take your car out and get used to them before you give it some into the bends. i had mine on a week, gave it shat into the bend and there was no usual sti feeling when i went in. i was offski. so they are very very good springs but dont give you as much feedback as the standards when your not used to them. can catch you out
  16. i have tein springs on my car with powerflex droplinks etc. the car sits very low on the tein springs and handles very well. so low in fact that i managed to rip the bottom of my bumper yesterday on a pavement when parking. APS kit i got but would suggest getting it remapped afterwards
  17. that schedule shows how good it could be. thats a real events diary just for one region...superb i get the strange feeling that people in that region actually drive their cars to chav it up, go on runs, meet up etc and all the time surely thats what we should be up to
