To all SIDC members ( Mods please move if this topic is in the wrong area, thanks ) Many of the members on here are probably clients of DR Motorsports based in Scotland and run by David. In fact I know that David is a member on here and posted about his project car. Unfortunately this thread is a complaint about the company. First off it must be noted that I have been using this company for many years and have bought several items from them. I have always recommended them to any owners wanting bodywork parts, splitters, spoilers etc. David has always been helpful in the past but that is where it all stopped last year. June 2010 - I call to order some 22B Bonnet Vents for my g/f's scoob as a present. He is going on holiday in July so I made the order and he said he would deal with it on his return. August 2010 - I go on holiday myself and on my return find a parcel from DR Motorsports. The vents are the wrong colour, wrong colour mesh and are for a prefacelift bonnet. I email David to explain the issue, maybe it was someone else's order ?? Sept 2010 - eventually get a reply saying I had ordered it wrong. He tells me to send them back and he will send out the right ones. Look at my emails and realise that yes I had mentioned the wrong year bonnet, but the rest of the colour and mesh was correct so I was not 100% wrong. Anyway at my own cost I send them back.I confirm the year, the colour and the mesh just in case there is any confusion December 2010 - eventually get the vents sent and once again they are wrong. Wrong shape but right colour and mesh. So try and get hold of him again. Nothing until a few weeks ago despite several calls and emails jan 2011 - get some snotty email saying it was my fault for ordering wrong and he would post on SN stating that. I showed him all my emails illustrating the errors. Since then nothing !! he has had £80 off me, two return parcels at my cost and nothing to show for it. David from DR Motorsports- you and your company are a joke. Either send me my vents or refund me the cost of the vents and carriage. You are doing nothing by refusing to reply to me apart from making it worse. And for any user on SIDC, I suggest you think twice about ordering from this company in the future

I would have thought this was quite easy considering the amount of cars that can and have turned up at various large meets. Surely we must have been close to this figure at Prodrive on the RB memorial relay ???

*********************** Postal delays ************************** Just in case people are still waiting for their vinyls and are getting impatient , I had an email from a guy today who has been waiting for his for over a month. After checking our records, it seemed we HAD sent his order, however he received it only on the 23rd when it was posted on the 8th !!! So as you can see the postal strike has really affected the mail in some areas and it is beyond a joke. And that was First class We are always willing to send out a replacement if your order is lost, however we also ask that everyone be as patient as possible. Thank you There are new updates on the website as well

Okay chaps I got my girlfriend to pack most of the envelopes and it seems the dozy twonk has missed out quite a few orders or not put the correct amount of vinyls in the envelopes. I do apologise for this. She has had a good slap and been sacked. She is now on ironing duty Anyone missing a vinyl, let me know and I will sort it out.

*********** Latest *************** Emma is still battling away I believe to get the Stickers out the door and I have sent out about 200 of the Vinyls on Friday (last week). Slap bang in the middle of the postal strike though They should all be with eveyone by the end of the week. Latest news on ordering and deliveries are on the website I have also been in contact with a few other forums that are related to Colin's career, to help raise the profile of what we are hoping to do. Namely the Skoda, Passionford, Citroen and Legacy forums. Keep up the great work guys

************* Latest News ********************* Okay, I think its about time all you guys and girls had a quick update as to where we are with the vinyl cut stickers. The first of these stickers were being cut this weekend and should be with us by early next week. The scottish flags come from a different supplier (this is done in an effort to keep the costs down) and they should also arrive the same day. Once in, we then have the fun part of sending them out So just a little bit longer and you will have them in your grubby mitts On a second note, we have also been in discussions with the guys over at NASIOC to see if they would like to start offering these stickers to their members and at the same time, do a reciprocal deal whereby we can buy their design. This has been reflected in a change on the website. Thank you all for your patience, it is appreciated

are you trying to buy stickers £3.50 or vinyl £7.00 ? If you cant get t'internet to work and dont have a cheque book, then internet banking work for you ?? either way, contact me or emma to help resolve this chris
