Just been talking to my Scooby dealer and he reckons he can supply the Prodive Performance Pack for under£1k( I don't know yet how far under). The original Prodrive price is £1600, This is for my 2001 UK300 with 63k miles. Looking for opinions. Should I go ahead or what other alternatives are there? How do I convince the missus that it's a belated Valentines gift.[:^)]

Yesterday afternoon I got back to my car in Asda and another 2 scoobs were parked beside me. Quite like to hear about the mods to the "?mint!? scoob beside mine with the AP brakes and SIDC disc holder.

Absolutely agree with all that's been said although I would hesitate to undertake in case the dozv git in front woke up and moved back to lane 1. I reckon it must be something to do with Subarus. I only got my currennt Scooby this week and whenever I overtake invariably there is some sort of reaction. For instance yesterday I was coming along the M8 about 70 and there's an Evo 8 in the nearside doing 60, as soon as I passed it was up to 90 to get back in front. Maybe Joe Public likes to brag that he was quicker than a Scooby! I've always had sporty cars BMW, Celica,etc, but I get more reaction in the Scoob. Jealousy is a terrible thing.

Here's my UK 300 which I've owned since Tuesday

Picked up my new motor this afternoon. 2001 UK300 previously owned by UK300-impreza. Believe it or not S&S had filled the tank 3/4 full so I just had to use it. I will post pics soon but can't yet as I don't want the engine to get cold!

Just took out online insurance yesterday with its4me(axa). Told them I had no tracker , got protected bonus and monthly payments of £33 for a2001 UK300.

John Spicer told me the car was only just in and was previously on a private plate. Now Y reg. 62k miles. Said the previous owner removed the back box for the new motor. What did you buy? Any other info would be appreciated.
