  1. I'm awaiting delivery of a GFB quick shift, but I would also like a chunkier grip. Might see you over the weekend and compare wheels.
  2. I believe the wrx and STi are the same spline size although the airbag connections are different between body shapes.
  3. Anybody able to tell me if the STi wheel has thicker grip than the WRX one. I know they are the same diameter but from pics the STi looks chunkier.
  4. Cheers for that but I don't want one thatmuch£££
  5. as above. does anyone know who can supply a short shift kit for the hawkeye. E-bay only seem to have earlier models
  6. Just noticed your post in this thread. What scooby are you using? Mine's a 56 Hawkeye WRX with prodrive lowering springs. I'd be interested in an opinion from anybody with this set up with the BC coilovers
  7. Quite interested in these. Correct me if I'm wrong but the group buy price is £550 +pp? Have you got them fitted yet and what's the ride like. Just had a rear standard set replaced under warranty and they're still rumbly. Usng prodrive lowering springs.
  8. FYI - Vpower stocks are only available in Inverness and Beauly.. No further north (AFAIK)
  9. For info of anyone in the Ayr area, I had my car machine polished today at Pro valet next to the Carlton Hotel. £25 using auto glym treatment. I will try and post some pics but have to say that this place is worth a visit.
  10. Should have had them fitted today but EBC sent the wrong pads. Getting them supplied and fitted by Seditas in Prestwick cost about £130
  11. Ordered the yellow stuff today. Probably fitted next week. I'll let you know
  12. Thanks for the link Think I'll go for the EBC undecided whether red or yellow
  13. I've got a 56 WRX hawkeye and will be looking to replace the pads soon. Any recommendations for after market pads. The Scooby ones aint great and leave aload of dust.
  14. Thanks George Just paypal'd it a minute ago
  15. Managed to write off my front splitter today on uneven surface. It was a Scott Lowe model. Any suggestions on a replacement for a 56 Hawkeye?
  16. I was going to paint the front one but when I took it off it look like a sealed badge and I couldn't separate it. Let me know how you get on.
  17. That'll be right. Give me a wave next time.Cheers
  18. I'll take the credit for the stickers, but the credit for the shiny bits belongs to a nice guy in Kilwinning
  19. Hope I've managed to post the pics this time http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w196/oletam/SDC13033.jpg http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w196/oletam/SDC13031.jpg http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w196/ol.../SDC13034-1.jpg
  20. Had my car done today. Well pleased with the results. Got them saved in Photobucket but can't seem to get them on the post. How do I do it?
  21. Looks like it will make sense to get some Octane booster as a back up. I've never used it before. Is there any recommendations as to type and who sells it?
  22. Had a read but the car was mapped by AndyF for V power, and I'd prefer to stick with that. Did you not have a problem with 95 RON which cost you a lot of money or was it just a heavy right foot?
  23. You guys up north. I'm thinking about going up to Inverness in a couple of weeks and then up to John o'Groats, Thurso and back. What's the availability of V power up there or would a full tank at Inverness see me round the loop? Can anyone tell me if I can only get normal unleaded, is it ok to use an octane booster as a temporary measure?
