  1. Say what you want about most of them but: Beckham wanted to win badly (throwing up on the field but still playing during the ecuador game) and good of him to give up the captaincy with McClaren coming in. Hargreaves was a total work horse in that last game and scored his penalty Paul Robinson, keepers are lucky to save a single penalty ever. And half the team never got to bl**dy play!!!! Why bother taking people like Theo if he wasnt going to play. But the rest of them, most definately, total, complete MUPPETS!!!!!!!!!
  2. Just got back from the rally yesterday afternoon. Was part of the Belgrade plane loading crew after working all weekend in the Gumball garage. Took me 19 hours to drive the 1263 miles from Belgrade airport to Mitsubishi london and drop the car off (sorry to say mitsubishi but i had no choice over my crew vehicle. I was just pleased it was rapid). The 19 hours includes fuel stops, 2 meal stops, the 45 min wait for the train at Eurotunnel and the drive into London city centre. I was flying along!!! I have a whole load of pics that i will post soon. The biggest brag i have though regards which cars i had to drive the 1/2 mile onto the runway to be loaded onto the gigantic Antanov cargo planes. I can now die knowing i have driven a Ferrari Enzo!!!!
  3. apologies for the email address, i was young and foolish!!! redferrari31@hotmail.com Robin
  4. Last year, before i started working for the company, i went as a spectator and ended up chasing the cars out of London and to Folkestone down the M20. Running with those cars at those speeds with hundreds of people waving banners off bridges etc was awesome!!!

There are some amazing cars lined up to do it including 2 Enzo's, 1 McLaren F1, 3 McLaren SLR's, 3 Zonda's, 2 Koeniggseggs and 2 Bugatti Veyrons!!! Anyone gonna come down and see them off, its gonna be wild!!??!!
  7. 8. I like the cat and mouse game. Thought some of the funnier things like the citroen 2cv test was quite good. Road tests should be left to the pros though, Top Gear all the way. However, nice to see a fit bird on a car show. Lisa Rogers is awesome!! [] Robin PS - Dal, you and the rest of the scum are gonna get a whooping on Saturday. 4th place is ours!!!!
  9. I think i was a little slow with the posting!!!
  10. http://www.apiengines.com/ Couldnt agree more with Cliff. I bought my car off David as a private sale and he has been more than helpful ever since. Mind you, i do spend an absolute fortune with him!!!!
  11. When i bought my car i was warned not to have sex on the bonnet of the car as it would get an impression of her arse in it cos it was too weak. So i didnt, luckily recaro`s fold forward and give you more room to play in the back!!!!!
  12. Would i get in trouble if i said i was thinking of getting a BMW and a diesel one at that? I love my scoobs but the running costs are crippling me (hence the thoughts of a diesel and the beemer is a nice ride with lots of options), but i always choose a subaru over an evo. Its not just on the road either, even watching on the WRC i always choose a scoobs no matter the driver. Its also the reason i bought a 95 plate classic over any other type. A certain Mr McRae won that year in a lovely blue number with yellow livery!!!! I think there is more passion in the subaru fraternity as well. You dont get quite the comaradery with a mitsi. Look how many members there are on this forum for instance and were certainly not the only one about.
  13. It was the smell that was worse though. Absolutely horrific!!!!!! If i hadn't known better i would of thought it was on fire!!!!
  14. Anything, as long as its loud!!!! Definately not anything the missus likes. She can keep her westlife and various other sh*te , if she wants to listen to that p*ss then she should buy her own car or a better set of head phone for her I-Pod!!!!
  15. After spending 2 days working on the scoobs, decided it was time for a well earned pint and drove to a fairly nearby pub. The pub in question has a covered beer garden with heaters right next to the car park. One of the things i`d done this weekend was replace all the rusted horrible heat sheilding on the manifold with exhaust heat wrap and this was the last thing i`d done. The wrap was still wet from putting it on and the drive was just enough to get the engine fairly warm. Standing at the bar a crowd had formed in the garden and some bloke who knew it was my car came running over shouting about it being on fire!!! I obviously legged it over just to find a huge ammount of billowing smoke exiting every vent and hole it could get out of the front of the car. It was really thick too and totally stank. The heat in the engine bay was drying out the wrap quite spectacularly and was steaming.....................a lot. I had to stop 2 people from calling the fire brigade!!! I just wish i`d had a camera with me cos it was hell of a sight.
