Alright Andy.....the OEM gaskets are in stock so it's all go for that point of view. Are you sure that the above cams will fit onto my car and do i need the valve springs retainers too? Your advice is such appreciated and as for fitting a WRC type turbo...eh i'll leave it the now. Can you give me a list of to do ref:cams,polishing,valves etc etc? Thanks boss.. BTW....i'm going fishing tomorrow at Abroath for COD. I need retail therapy

As my engine is coming out for various reason and want to kill 2-3 birds with 1 stone,i was think about getting my heads ported and possibly putting cams and valves in too. Does porting heads make a bigs difference and if so how much? What cams should i possibly look into? Cheers

The best thread i've read in ages for advice and a bit of banter. AlanG has alot of good advice as he has done it and got the T shirt but have since sold his car(beast). I personally have the 6 pot AP with 330mm disc and have no negative comment at all and have done both Knockhill and Crail with no drama at all.....still braking too early for the hair pin but pure to be on the safe side as i don't want it too get out of hands. So make your choice and decide for yourself. If say you wanted to go for the AP's....Godspeed does a good deal on them!
