WUZ: the gasket that came off the original up pipe is off a different size.Is there a difference with the compreesable ones you are talking about. Had a good look at the up pipe earlier on i notice the bung that was used to fill in the EGT probe hole has blew to bits.It was a water temp sensor that was used which explain the leak So tomorrow i need to go to engineer shop to get a proper bolt. Do anyone know what the thread/size i need to get? Thanks

Thanks WUZ for the advice m8.It is Gruppe S header with XS power up pipe. 1. Where can i get the gaskets from? 2. If i need to take it to a machine shop how much would it cost? 3. How come i got the MK1 version when i only got them a month ago? Thanks once again for advice

Why have i got the MK1 2 bolt flanges if i have just got these in the last month or so???????? Still pi$$ing my off just thinking about it.

<< Old GruppeS headers (MK I) used a 2-bolt fixing but were VERY prone to leaking at the flange. They upgraded the MK II headers to have a 3-bolt fixing between Headers and uppipe and so this won't work with the new ones (produced for the last 2 years!) Sorry! I would only consider a new ECU(GEMS , MOTEC ,etc)or a AndyF ECUTEC remap m8

For what reasons do you wrap the headers , up pipe & down pipe? Does it increase the bhp by wrapping it? Or does it just keep the engine bay heat down?
