I've had my 97 Impreza since Feb this year and am amazed how many other Scooby owners flash (their lights that is) or wave. I had a beetle about 8 years ago and didn't get it half as much. Warms the old cockles it does.....

Up until a few months ago there was a Subaru Main Dealer 10min away (Spring Park Motors) but its now a Renault dealer I would've used these just for convenience. Cheers

I bought a 97 Impreza Sport earlier this year and its been f'in great. As I am no petrol head I am looking for a garage that will do the odd bit as it needs it (currently needs an oil pump I've been told) but I cannot find anywhere other than Authorised Subaru garages on the web?! do any 3rd party garages exist that will look at a Subaru? or should I be taking it to the Authorised garages? I own a 97 Impreza 2.0 sport Can anyone point me in the right direction? I think I have a cracked downpipe (am getting it checked for definate 2morrow). Am I right in saying that the downpipe has a cat in it? What are my options for getting a replacement? I don't want a uprated downpipe (which I presume will not get through an M.O.T). Will I have to get it directly from Subaru? cheers
