  2. the green plugs under the dash are for "self diagnostics" dont mess with them unless you know what your doing there are 2 black wires and a block connector this is for air bag and a.b.s. the green is for engine diagnostics,,, if you got the codes you can find out what problems you may have.. hope that helps abit... stu
  3. although the v 8 scooby is awesome !! its lacking the famous "burble" noise from the exhaust. So,, as i spent all my money on the car ,, i cant afford to spend money i havent got, on things i dont need... So the question is, can i get the "burble" back,, is it a case of just changing the back box ?? does the equal length manifolds stop the "burble" what did you do ??????? Cheers Stu.......
  4. Hi mate, ive been a panel beater for 15 years, my advice is to go to a large firm , you only get wot you pay for if you wont a good job done. if you go through insurance and have it done at an approved bodyshop and you are not happy with the result you have the right to take it back because approved repairers cant afford to loose insurance work (they should keep you happy) good luck
  5. Great if you can give me some info. just wont to fix it then im thinking about selling, which is a shame, its a stunning car but when it goes wrong for no reason its hard to find people who know what there talking about when thay say they can fix it, so it gets expensive and 4 months later the A.B.S. light is still on . Although i never thought about joining a club like this , it might be just what i need to sway my mind into keeping it. who nows its good to talk to other scooby owners..
  6. cheers all, someones got to help, im banging my head against a wall over this one
  7. Hello, to everybody !! got a problem, can u help me? I have a 1998 S.T.i Jap import, and the a.b.s. has gone up the shoot!! I managed to find someone who could pull the code, turns out it was (low voltage) supply. I'm thinking its got to be the E.C.U. which is on the A.B.S. pump. Before i spend over £1000, on a new one, I could do with a wire Diagram to check this out (even if its not in English) The system is a UNISA one. import is not the same as Brit spec. Has anyone had an A.B.S. light come on ...on there import S.T.i ???? and what did you do? Thanks in advance
