I love my car, though admittedly mechanically clueless and in awe of many on here, however I love the banter on this site. There are very few forums you can go to these days where it isn't all "U R GAY" and "STFU N00B" type stuff. I feel it's a true community and there's not many of them left on the Net that aren't trolled to b*ggery by "133T HaX0r5" and other such tribes with equally gay names.

Reads thread
Gets angry
Thinks happy thoughts
Leaves thread
i.e. Don't get me started on this one!

<< traffic monitoring or DVLA.
nothing to worry about
unless you dont have tax or a license lol >>
It almost was for me on Friday when I slammed on the brakes on the A90 just outside Aberdeen and the guy in the Celica behind came within a ball-hair of rear-ending me! Bloody DVLA. All I saw was white van, doors open, two cameras.

Sorry.
I'm not very good at this computer lark

<< The lecht is a ski place that we passed through on the may run. >>
Did we ever clarify if it was the Lecht or Glenshee? I'm not familiar with the Lecht, but know of the huge carpark at Glenshee and going by the description that's what it sounded like.

You whoosh your HKS at me and I'll whoosh my Bailey at you and every other bugger on the Kincardine Bridge will think "what a pair of sad tw@ts"

Saw that article and agree mostly, but if the stance of Lothian & Borders is as said then why do they have them on the Newbridge underpass? No fatalities there. Those were amongst the first to be installed and paid for themselves in two weeks. Until they start fitting them where it matters - e.g. outside schools, or in villages like that mentioned etc, they're cash cows and nobody can convince me otherwise.

<< Or get a motorbike - no front plate - problem solved
>>
That in itself opens a can of worms. By not treating all road users equally, are they in breach of our human rights. Given the screwiness of Brussels, you'd probably get off with it.

Bloody hell! 53???? I'm buying shares in Shell!

<< Now where can I find this A82? >>
I did the A85 and A82 from Stirling up to Glencoe Village/Kinlochleven last weekend. Loads of signs have appeared since I last went up there in May saying that unmarked motorcycles are on patrol. True or not, I dunno.

Can't comment on your braces, but your motor was sounding sweet on the K bridge tonight!

A very good point

That is a gorgeous dog Ed. Love dogs with blue eyes.

I'm not going to say how much that article upset me. How anybody could do that to a dog is beyond me. Signed and link passed on.

Awwwww. A fwuffy thread.
This is Tara. Cross German Shepherd. Crossed with what though, nobody knows. Got her from the DogTrust Rescue Centre at West Calder. Now, because my job takes me away a lot, she's living the spoiled rotten life with my parents.

Somebody grease the revolving door

<< andywrx....can you confirm that you are doing the photography for this event please? >>
Oops - Stuck at a boring conference in Berlin (don't mention the war!) and only just noticed this. Yup. I'll have camera, tripod etc and try to get a panoramic (plus others)

<< Royal Signals >>
Is that where you let the Queen's train through first?

<< Fantastic mate! I'm buying you a pint or two for that! >>
I'll hold you to that - Reading in November is good for me
-
<< as for you MR IM AN IT MASTERMIND- same detail >>
I've only had one (so far!), but have a zero tolerance drink/drive policy.
Oh, and if we're going to do Baywatch, let's do Baywatch and not Gaywatch

<< Given your new avatars maybe you and Weeb could go to a gay bar together.

(chokes on beer)

AAARGHHHH. THE AVATARS. IT BURNS MY EYES. THE PAIN. THE PAIN
Big it up for the Hoff!

Thanks for your kind words folks - thought it might go down well
Spince - The soundtrack is David gray - The One I Love. Not sure if it's his latest single, but it's been getting a lot of airtime.
Jodi - The snow pic was intentional! That's my motor after I got cocky and thought I was invincible last January!
St3ph3n - Sorry mate, you're only in it once now. It was (rightly) pointed out that one of the pics is copyright (well they all are, but I'm assuming nobody else minds!)
It was kept to a downloadable size, but I could put together a bigger one that could be used as a rolling display on a laptop for events if it was thought worthwhile???

<< I had a quick look at the package, i see you can save it as a screen saver. I'm sure there are a few folks that would like that (myself included!) >>
Your wish is my command! Screen saver now done. Clicky linky. I've taken off the soundtrack for it as that would really get on yer tits after a while!
