  8. http://s92.photobucket.com/albums/l20/jd52...e%20test%20day/ Many thanks to Martyn from www.enginetuner.co.uk who invited us to a private test day at Smeatharpe today. Adrenaline Motorport were in attendance with the Murtaya road car and the newly built rally car. Martyn was involved in mapping on the day assisted by Steve Simpson of TEG Motorpsort (spends his days building WRC cars and who alos developed the SimTek ecu!) Also in attendance was a Pilbeam single seater racing car itted with a Vauxhall engine, unfortunately this did not tun due to starting problems. Day started very very cold as the Murtaya rallycar was rolled off the trailer, left to warm up and te driven at hogh speeds around the airfield, also the road car wa having a play. Day ended for the Murtaya's at about 1pm when the rallycar damaged the crank and the road car developed a miss-fire. In absence of anything else to play with, martyn promptly set about altering my launch control, now launches at 5250rpm with 0.6 bar of boost!!!!!!!!!!!! He enjoyed taking it for runs around the airfield, coming back with brakes smoking. Martyn then started giving passenger rides in MY car!!! 1st Vix, then his wife, then the owner of Adrenaline Motorsport, about 6 kids, then Steve Simpson had a drive. All were impressed with my scoob, te power & handling is put together in an excellent useable package. If anyone is unsure of who Steve Simpson is, check out http://www.tegsport.co.uk/ - very experienced in subaru rally circles. All in all an excellent day and cannot thank Martyn for inviting us. More photos will be posted when I receive them.
