  1. oi us newage owners dont need to keep cleaning our cars as we dont have to worry so much about rust patches that go hidden under mud etc. The K-Sport 8 pots are excellent, good choice Tel. Need 18" rims now.......then cnahge to the 356mm disks
  2. Evening all. Dont worry about the colour clash Tel, mine are block front and gold rear. Hope the newer K Sport pads are ok as the earlier ones had bad reviews. Not sure about yellow stuff as I thought they were more aimed at track use. I use Ferodo DS2500 work well from cold and have had no issues.
  3. Evening, Good choice Tel. What pads have you gone for?
  4. Very sad to here this, always made us foreigners feel welcome on our trips to the uk. Still remember the mass SWS weekend at Pontins.
  5. morning had K sports on mine for 5 years now with DS2500 pads. work well.
  6. Unfortunately, any travelling to & from the rock is expensive. The most expensive piece of water in the workd to cross. I would suggest going from somewhere were the flights are more frequent as the costs will be alot lower.
  7. yes, not enough entries so Lee has decided to call it a day. Real shame this wont happen again after the court battle to ensure the events can run. There are moans about no easy to enter racing on the South West, something gets offered and a few die hard fans enter.
  8. Didnt realise flights came from Oxford. Suggest you hav a look at Guernsey Airport website http://www.guernsey-airport.gov.gg/Airport%202040%20closures%20announced.pdf We are having an extension built to the runway so there are some closures in the year. If you do come over, we could meet up for dinner somewhere.
  9. Sad to see that Mk1. Owned to Mk2 tarmac rally cars in the past. Big grin factor.
  10. If you can accept the 35mph speed limit. Seriously, the place is very chilled out. Great restaurants, beaches, walks. Nice and relaxing. http://www.visitguernsey.com/
  11. After september we will be in a different house.
  12. Anyone interested in a trip to Guernsey in June? Over a couple of weekends we either have the local static car show on Sunday 24th June which Sarnia Car Club have a stand http://www.gcvc.org.gg/event.cfm/newsitem/10/ The the following weekend on Saturday 30th June os the charity hill climb which I have entered in the scoob http://www.heritage.co.gg/page/view-news/news/heritage-charity-hillclimb If anyone is interested, I will have a hunt around for hotels or camp sites (which will be cheaper).
  13. Be nice for some of you to come here.
  14. You need to be here for 24th June and 30th June. 24th June is the local car show http://www.gcvc.org.gg/event.cfm/newsitem/10/ 30th June is the charity hill climb http://www.heritage.co.gg/page/view-news/news/heritage-charity-hillclimb
  15. morning all. Have a good one at Yeovilton. Going anywhere from here is expensive, apparently we are a cash rich island. But when you are paying £1800 a month rent for a 3 bed bungalow, you dont get mush left over Boat fare to UK approx £350! Looking at a long weekend in France soon, but not taking car. Will fly to Dinard and spent the weekend in the town. Nice and relaxing.
  16. a few, the island has a population of about 60,000. we have monthly meets for Sarnia Car Club, so not restricted to Scoobs. Have about 4 or 5 cars turn up, but it doesnt matter. We have the local car show in June, so hoping to have a few cars for that. There are some tastfully modified cars here but nowhere to use them in anger.
  17. I will miss many of the days out now Have to make our own here.
  18. Welcome Good choice of engine.
  19. There can be interference on the alarm if parked to close to mobile masts. Is a common problem. Evening all.
