Most octane boosters dont work. My car has been mapped by enginetuner and i dont see why i should be forced to use a sub-quality fuel

The local supplier of Super Unleaded to the Channel Islands has decided to stop importing the fuel.

Currently they are mentioning tank repairs / alternative product / ok to use 95 octane but nothing defined has come out.

This will have a massive impact on not only those of us who run modified cars in the islands, but also new and 2nd hand car sales as there are alot of cars out there that are recomended by the manufacturer to run on 97 or above.

It is with sadness that I am retiring my post as RO for Guernsey.

There just isnt enough interest to warrant being the RO for one make of vehicle in the island.

However, I will continue to be an active member of the club and hope to see you all again soon.

On the flip side, I am heavily involved in a local car club "Sarnia Car Club" which has regular meets every month including meals out & bowling to name a couple. We are continuing from strength to strength.
