About SCOOBY1998S

  1. For those that went to the Rally, what did you think of Car 21 - the very orange Impreza. We finished 11th overall and 8th in class, which we think is not too shabby for our first event in the scoob. All we have to do is get it cleaned and ready for the humberside stages on the 25th March. You can find some pictures at http://westy.smugmug.com/gallery/1269761 regards, Anthony
  2. We went testing at the Bill Gwynne rally school yesterday. The car is a bit of a beast. The testing went very well and I think we should now be ok on the Kent. We had only one slight problem with the clutch slipping, but this seems to be due to the slave cylinder being a little close to the clutch arm. This was fixed with a small amount of spannering, although we will keep an eye on it, just in case. Although we do have a small list of things we need to fix, there is nothing dramatic. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera, so I have no pictures, that's what comes of getting up at 5.00am... Anthony

  6. Green M Plate with Yellow Subaru Decals, right outside the front of my house! Sounds nice.
  7. Hi, When's your first rally? Are you going to do the local event Barretts Rally of Kent? Looking good so far. I'm currently rebuilding a Pug 106 Gti for the same event, although we only started the build a week ago. Next is the respray... cheers, Anthony
  8. Hi All, I thought I better add my name to the list, as I do live in Kent and have seen some of you out and about. I am lucky enough to have 2 Scoobies, at the moment. MY98 in Reddish Blue and a MY04 WRX Sti in Silver both with Gold Wheels! If you see me about give a wave, I'm in the medway towns. cheers, Anthony
