Got to say what great service i've had from Just Lambda
, ordered the Lambda sensor on Friday about 2pm, got a email on Saturday to say it's been posted and it arrived on Monday morning
Always been impressed when used them hence happy to pass on etc
-
Just a little update, car hasn't been running properly lately, lumpy idle, hesitation at 2500rpm and crap fuel consumption
Simon (JGM) came round yesterday and it seems my lambda sensor has packed up, Simon did have a spare sensor but unfortunately it was the wrong one
For a laugh i phoned Subaru and they wanted £242.45
, on the advice of Simon i got in contact with Just Lambda and they are sending me one for the grand total of £69 inc delivery
don't give away all my contacts

Spotted a few at the tolls last night noisy buggers and the lingering smell of clutches
Sorry Col2 i was unable to take your money with chewing gum stuck on it
wondered if you might be working.. there was a fair few of us

is it a better way to run it instead of a z32.
yes and cheaper for a start
-
No problem
that would work... need to be careful with idle valve connection so it sucks through maf but otherwise works very well wetc..
Simon
how would it stop the maf from maxing out.
Because its a different Maf
I've run a car at 400bhp on this set up ,using a newage maf in the intercooler pipework etc

meph,meph,meph
deffo needs better fuel with that compression ratio so high
-
Your not wrong there Simon, but at least you tried
Will get there in the end
still making good power at the end of the day
-
it's frustrating when it doesn't behave! ;o)
-
yeah the mix of various year parts gave the initial issue but thanks to Paul @ Zen for letting me know what cam wheels and crank wheel fitted and that it might be the wider gap on the kent cam pulley to cam sensor... quick adjustment on cam sensor sensitivity and spot on.
once on boost she flies! real stealthy too!

I think it revved to 6000rpm once and I just wasn't happy with noise.. it is in the early stages of and may just be the clearances on the bearings not within tollerance or they reground a crank rather than using a new one.. but regardless it is not right
-
sorry to have been the one to give you the bad news today Matt.
-
does that make Hugh the offical Kent scooby tester now then?
be round one I have completed my current upgrades
Simon

oops sorry

big hammer

lol.. I wasn't after a plug Mart.. lol
was purely interested whether the extra 10 to 15bhp from headers was worth it.
Can you not alter the subframe to miss headers?
-
Mart,
out of interest can you notice the increase in power?
A number of people having had the car mapped then want a little more on the sti without the next big step (turbo and injectors) so just wondered if just the header change and a remap is noticable to you much in everyday use?
obviously it is running more power but just wondered if it is worth the expence on headers and tweak?

no problemo
Dyno Shootout Day Anyone?
in South East England

would highly recommend ringing www.surreyrollingroad.co.uk for a comparison.. he knows subarus and has dyno'd over 5000 cars
