dal its not lame mate, it needed to be said and if the only way of bringing all this out in the open is a rant publicly, then fine. its got people talking about the whole situation and that can only be good for the club as a whole! i am only one opinion, one voice but hopefully now ive kicked up a fuss, there will be more opinions and more voices to be listened to and the club will go onwards and upwards!!!! btw welcome to the club, we are (usually) a friendly bunch on here!

i think i have spoke to you, the meet i went to at the wharf jan or feb, (bad memory) pele parked up next to me and i had a chat with the bloke in the car with her who said he had had a scoob and was planning to get another, was chatting about fmic's and general mods! i know i probably of should something earlier but i didnt want to kick up a stink and end up with even less people talking to me! lol

yeah im selling my car and that is one of the reasons im now saying what has been needed to be said for a long time! ive only came to one meet at the wharf and was so dissapointed with it, i couldnt justify the hour or so drive and the cost to go to anymore, i made myself known to pele at that meet and basically got blanked which was well noticed by the people that came up with me, i also went to fast show, blanked again but at least dean and ian were keen to talk! also up at elite, blanked, just think for someone who is supposed to be the boss and holding kentscoobies together she needs to be more friendly to new members and open to ideas which she hasnt been in the slightest! yeah im saying all this now because im selling my car, and i couldnt really give a s**t if people get the arse with me about it, the club sucks at the moment and it could be so much better, i do hope the club pulls through but its gonna need a lot of changes, i just hope that when i get sorted and get myself another scoob that there will be a thriving, fun club that i would be proud to say i am a member of!

ps, i make you sick, shut my mouth? sorry pele this isnt your private club, its for all scooby lovers in kent (or so i thought!) please take me off the mailing list as well, i mean 4 emails in 9 months is just too much for my inbox to handle.

dont see why this should be said by pm, this is not a personal dig at pele, this involves everyone in kentscoobies im just pointing out that this club could be a lot bigger and better! scooby social life? one meet a month at a pub nr to pele. when it was suggested about having a meet more south easterly on the odd occasion, it got shot down in flames. your suggestion about joining the esc, i would of if i lived closer! it was someone from there who told me about kentscoobies not really doing a lot at my first meet, and he wasnt wrong. ok youve had personal problems which were well publicised on here, but should the club suffer for that? example, peles diary, last updated sept 04! does that show how little has gone on in this club? hopefully with dean and ian onboard now maybe the club will fair better. ian its up to you if you want to delete this post but this isnt a personal dig at pele, just stating the facts that the club is looked upon as poor by a lot of the people on sidc and it shouldnt be that way.

sorry but think this is ridiculous. back at the start of the year it was going to be all systems go with kentscoobies, this year was going to be busy, yada yada yada..... your talking about the christmas meal now, what about inbetween? this club is being held back by the lack of organisation of events or meets. every time something is suggested unless pele likes the idea (occasionally) or can make that day ,nothing happens. several times things have been suggested by other members but they come to nothing if someone cant cope with the club or the organising needed to run a successful club, then maybe rather than appointing deputies, that person should let someone else take over as the boss of kentscoobies. this club could be a lot bigger and better than it is essex scooby crew do things most weekends of the year and their boss is also at all the events they arrange, its supposed to be a club for drivers of scoobies in kent not a certain persons private gang! sorry if im ruffling a few feathers but this had needed to be said for quite a while and if im the only person willing to say it on this forum then so be it! i know from talking to people that i am not the only person that thinks this! things need to change or this club will just slowly grind to a halt rant over

spotted v8voodoo driving past the police station in ladywell, dover. my mrs had a right chuckle at your reg plate! first time ive spotted anyone from kentscoobies, yay!

yeah all seems good now, just wondered if it was something like someone pressed their keypad same time as mine and it got confused!!! still, fingers crossed its ok!

when i came out of the pub my car was unlocked, bit strange i thought as i remember locking it after getting stickers off pele. when i came out to car next day alarm/immobiliser and central locking wouldnt work. just got it working now after reprogramming keys, ive never had this problem before, is it possible that it got confused with all the other sigma alarms fitted to the other scoobies that were there? very strange but thankfully sorted now, just as well, my neighbours were getting well hacked off with the alarm going off every time i went out to the car! lol

got the mirrors on, thankyou pele! found your thread on s/net and it helped a lot! had the wiring at the mirror end so it was just a case of joining them in the footwell and sorting the switch. must of sat there for twenty minutes folding in, folding out, folding in, folding out.........

am i right in thinking that i need to run an extra two wires to each door from the switch for fold/unfold, and these connect to the spare two pins on the switch? my car is an MY99 if it makes a difference! all help welcome!

nige theres two silver classic scoobs in deal that i know of, ones my mates (low spoiler MY93) and another with gold wheels. another one of my mates, (not from deal) drives a MY93 classic with an sti5 spoiler on it and is often in deal during the day!!! << Question to The Daddy, Did I see a Scoob very similar to yours parked on the seafront at Deal yesterday or today? i have just got my computer up and running after a week or so and came across these various threads regarding pele and lee. i have only had my scoob a couple of months and havent managed to attend a meet yet (must try harder) so havent met either of them yet. i just wanted to say, please mind what you say to each other in the heat of the moment, take a step back and look at yourselves because what happens now will affect you for a long time. sorry if i seem to be preaching but i had a similar situation 7 years back and my life has never been the same, several court cases later,a lot of money, two periods of heartbreak and no contact with my kids (months) and now my ex being charged with assaulting me and i wouldnt wish this on anyone. i hope you can eventually become more amicable towards each other, but i admit it does take time (and a lot of effing + blinding/sobbing) dont be rash and let the petty squabbles ruin absolutely everything as i did good luck to you both i have had help off a few people from kentscoobies regarding my car and it would be a shame to see it fold. graham

drive a t plate dbm classic usually a bit dirty lol i live in deal but shops are slightly better in dover! what is your plate then? i remember looking at the plate on the car but the amount of beer consumed in the last couple of weeks has made my memory a bit fuzzy!

hey nige you wasnt driving about in dover on christmas eve was you? i was coming down towards the town from whitfield and saw a blue bugeye driving towards whitfield

scotts mototune in dover are a good lot, my mate hippo works there I bought a blinding eaton amp from there for an install im doing in my car very helpful and do some blinding deals on wheels and tyres too!
