TTS Mark and Ooy CS Super Roo (Andy) CS Kev CS elf111 (chris and Emma) CS Sprmatt (dumfries) CS Dan g and Misses G TTS Speye91 TTS Dazh TTS Scooby Carl TTS Peter H and misses TTS Lisa and Ian TTS Mr 9 lives TTS Mick TTS Kev TTS Bwe LADS Gaz wrx LADS Big Dave LADS Mike LADS As always military precision was applied and departure at 1130 from carlisle and a great run up into Scotland After miles of trying we eventually got a 2 lane convoy of scoobys and a smooth arrival into Services at 1pm to be met with another 100++ subarus was an amazing site every colour and modle on show and everyone dressedin subaru regalia and nice to see some of the scottish scoobies with kilts on . ( it made me think of a smaller version of the NBO and has given me another vision) Excellent moving speech by awesomeposse (Grant ) and good planning by Imys who then sorted out 127 subarus into groups of classic, bugeyes, blobeyes and hawkeyes she then led the largest convoy that i had ever seen which seemed to stretch for miles down the valley into lanark parking was swift then we boarded busses (and i bet half the people had never been on a bus for years) when we got into lanark the main street was packed and large screens were set up for us all A moving celebration of Colin and Johnnys life followed with people from all walks of life all grouped together for this sad and emotional event . Talking to Ally B(scottish SIDC organiser)the plans for a national convoy down to Prodrive with the whole subaru community is very exciting and many thousands will be raised for charity once again a fine example of what a great community we all belong to after the event a nice convoy down the m74 to end the day and we will all have special memories of a special (but sad) day . thanks to all at Scotland for making the English feel welcome on this special day Lord harding CS/TTS NBO chairman

  10. RB run Cumbrian check in point ######## #196 Absolutley fantastic night we were down at Southwaite services for 7 all tooled up with our banner and cars all lined up and even a scooby which was parked there came over didnt know any thing about it and in 5 minutes we had him signed up for the club also a couple from glasgow joined us .the atmosphere was Electic as wilky came on followed by the now legendary corsa van and a legacy camera support vehicle then follwed a hardcore mixture of scoobs from down south and manchester and the LADS and CADS group for 40 minutes there was some great scooby banter between us all swapping storys and catching up . I presented the donation to Wilky who was one of the nicest blokes you can imagine and then the majority of them left to head back south . Wilky then tradionaly led the convoy away along with the <hardcore> corsa .and a few long distance sccobs and the cumbrian scoobs followed for support for about 40 miles untill we tailed off for a leisurely drive back """ I pulled up level with the now legendary Wilky (or cal)as we saw the ' Wellcome to Scotland 'on the motorway and i could see his face light up with emotion as he was half way on his epic journey to the final destination Great night, top blokes as always in the Scooby community and loads of cash raised for Cancer research !!!!!!!!! Fingers crossed the now Legendary Wilky will be special guest of honour at the NBO 4 to help us raise even more Wilky to organise a NATIONAL CONVOY to the NBO and the number 2 position must go to the lad in the CORSA !!!! with the momentum going now lets pool our resources and try to beat last years total of 3k for the NBO cancer research apeal Wilky we NEED you once youve recovered of course :D and lets to the RB run next year !!!!!!!
  11. What a great night asembled the cumbrian scoobs in the car park at southwaite near carlisle at 7 pm and we waited patiently for the convoy I spoke to bob (blue boy ) wosaid thet had left charnockand the convoy was massive !!! Just after 8 after we had put the cumbrian scoobs banner out the first cars came in follwed by a very fast wild looking convoy . The leader of the convoy was Cal or wilky and what a top bloke he was we presnted our TTS /CS money and took a couple of photos Wilkky is now A scooby legend and i persuaded him to be the special guest of honour at the NBO to help raise even more money for cancer research saw lots of the regulars from LADS ,CADS and other scooby enthuastics and it makes you feel prowd to see so many scooby owners doing their bit for charity It was really nice to see the lad in the Corsa who was doing the trip as well Real Hardcore ==RESPECT ### most of the convoy then headed south and the legend Wilky led the convoy up towards to scotland with legacy camera and the corsa (RESPECT) I followeed the <great one> wilky and pulled level with him as we passed the welcome to scotland sign and i saw his face light up as he was half way in his epic journey fantastic night prowd to be a smallpart of it !! if you make this a anual event count me in next year !!! keep on raising the money for charity and am privilged to have met you !! see you all at the NBO

  17. Early discusons with the CADS and the LADS on a suitable meeting point on the M6 to join the cumbrian scoobs are going well !!! TTS will be planning the east invasion across the border in the January meeting This is going to be an awesom run and the Green wagon is booking a few days holliday to do the John o Groats finish as well
  18. apologies as Im not too much of a regular on here but all at Cumbrian and Tyne tees scoobs are very keen to help At our xmas bash on Tuesday wecame up with the of the run too. thought of may day bank holliday weekend , we thought of west meet in Cumbria and an East meet at scotch corner . we would then LEAD the convoys (at a sensible pace) for a Raid across the Border !!! We thought to link the East and west convoys at a central meeting point in scotland say moffat ? or maybe a bigger venture such as Hamilton fun park ? this is where we would probably struggell on our planning as we at Cumbria Tyne tees are nt too familar with the Highlands !!! At the Central meeting point we would then hand over to the Wild scotsmen to lead us th the Grand march to the finishing point !! Rather then have our running as well as the SIDC we would like to get involved and help you all with the RB run ( It also frees up our Time to plan The NORTHERN BIG ONE 4 which is allready planned for June. ) So we are really keen to get involved in this Let me know if you want any help (as Ive got some other ideas in my head for the run ) John Lordharding (the guy with daft of the NBO .
