  1. Well, I suppose you could do it by forcing the wastegate open, although why you'd want to is another matter. I had a circlip come off the wastegate actuator on my old Bluebird ZX and that happened (thought I had trashed the turbo), it drove like a pig with no boost.. don't forget, turbo engines generally run much lower compression ratios than N/A engines, so with no boost you end up with a gutless N/A motor.... Just make her pay for the petrol.. that'll slow her down! Cheers, Plug

  4. After going to the MOT station today, my next call was to the Shell garage to fill up (as it was running on fumes ). My good mood swiftly evaporated as I was confronted with a pump saying 102.9p a litre How much is it round your way? Grrrrr.... Plug

  8. Hi, I've got a set of Champion RC8PYP platinum tipped plugs that I bought to put in my previous scooby.. they never got used. 3 years old but I hardly imagine they've got a shelf life. Think they cost me about £45, but yours for a tenner plus postage if you want them.. Cheers, Plug

  11. 1st or 2nd cambelt? The 2nd change is at the 90000 mile service, which is eye-wateringly expensive.. over £700 for my standard UK turbo HTH, Plug
  12. Oooh bugger.. Oh well, a bit of melted wiring, no-one got hurt. Back to the drawing board.. Cheers, Plug
  13. Hello Ben, That's a photo of an IDE drive.. 40 pins on the data connector. 4 pins for the power, the section in the middle is for jumpers to configure the drive as a master/slave if necessary. SATA drives connect with a 4 pin connector, I think the power connectors are smaller as well. Cheers, Plug
  14. Don't like the graphics and the crappy rear spoiler would definitely have to go. Apart from that, would make a nice Q-car.. Cheers, Plug
