  1. His whole write up was published as an article on scoobypedia (includes all pics). See link in a few posts above.
  2. @Vimmy, As well as being published in TrueGrip your final HID install in Classic article is now published on Scoobypedia: http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/index.php/Knowledge/HIDXenonLightInstallationClassic I have to say, you've done a great job with this article. Well done mate.
  3. Welcome to SIDC. That's a nice looking car mate. Like the colour too - although I would ;-)
  4. @Vimmy, As discussed I've published a draft in progress article, for the HID Xenon Light Installation (Classic), from the great information you've authored and sent me to date here: http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/index.php/Knowledge/HIDXenonLightInstallationClassic Just let me know as and when I help further. --Steve. P.S: If anyone else fancies tackling a Scoobypedia article for the SIDC like vimmy has just let me know.
  5. Yes, I always get the tensioner done too. Spark plugs are changed at 60K miles for your car (assume it's a UK or Euro car). --Steve.
  6. This sounds good, as you say to have classic and newage HID writeup will be great. The gauge install looks great too. Think I can see another 'project' page for that too! Just send me what you have (I'll pm you both my email) and I'll create the initial page(s). Don't bother with formatting I'll sort that.
  7. Vimmy, Stu, Sounds like an interesting install you both are going. I'd be happy to publish an article on Scoobypedia for you guys to maintain if you took a few pics and a little text. Just let me know. -Steve.
  8. Finally got round to publishing your article on Scoobypedia. Take a look here: http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/index.php/Knowledge/FullDetail --Steve.
  9. Very interesting - never seen a car washed so many times ;-) If you want I'd be happy to convert your write-up and pics into an article on Scoobypedia. Let me know and I'll take care of it. -Steve.
  10. Graeme, Good idea. Here it is :-) http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/index.php/Pro...ewageRearStruts I've included two solutions from the various forum suggestions. --Steve.
  11. There are a few notes on Scoobypedia (see link below), however this is not a complete how-to yet. I did it for my slightly mod'ed MY00 Classic a while back. No noticeable performance gain and a whole lot of extra turbo sounds from the engine bay. I didn't do it again for my newage. http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/index.php/Kno...esonatorRemoval
  12. To be honest, that sounds more like 'fuel cut' to me mate - over boosting in the cold weather causing ECU to cut fuel until boost drops, then repeats...
  13. iain, recommend you change dealers if they are giving you that advice. What mods have you got?
  14. Is it sensor number 7 here: http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/index.php/Knowledge/Sensors
  15. This is very common especially if you have a decat downpipe. Scoobypedia has a couple of relevant articles (see links below). What ever you do, the first thing is to read the fault code to see what you are dealing with - guessing will only be costly in the long run. http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/index.php/Knowledge/CELFix http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/index.php/Kno...lectronicCELFix http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/index.php/Kno...ReadingECUCodes -Steve.
