Another question, sorry guys but who better to ask than yourselves What is the service intervals? 7.5k, 10k or 15k - I've been told 3 different intervals by different. but what is the truth When is the cam belt due for a change? 45k ??? Would I be better looking for a sub 40k car or one that has just done over 45K as the belts would (should) have been changed. Again TIA

I am driving a BMW 328 at the mo - would running costs be similar? @ robinh20mrv - you mention you for a model with the 4 pot, what models have the 4 pot and are they standard. I will be looking for a UK car from 1999 on. Is there any other advice you guys can offer i.e. things to look for etc... TIA

Looking for some advice. I am considering buying a 1999 or 2000 Impreza turbo 2000 wagon. I have wanted one for ages and always been put off by others telling me that the fuel consumption is horrendous (sp?) and servicing costs are expensive. Can someone clear this up. 1. What like is the fuel consumption - And I know it all comes down to how its driven but an average daily driving. 2. What like are the servicing cost at a dealer and what is the service intervals. 3. Someone told me that to replace spark plugs half the engine needs dimantling - is that a load of blah I would appreciate if I get answers to the above, I have been research for a little while but found mixed answers to the above Cheers guys
