I fully appreciate that christmas has not yet been and gone and that there is a credit crunch on BUT as an organiser I need to be on the ball and so i am putting this up nice and early. The South West Motor Show Newton Abbott Race Course Newton Abbott Sunday 21st June 2009 Usually Costs about £6 a ticket but need to confirm Brilliant day out for all the family and one of the best shows we have ever attended - even if slightly damp a good range of things happening. So come on guys and gals, lets get those names down and give them a show to remember!

This is something sent to me by the late Bob 'Blue Boy' Jones - true grip editor when we lost our dog 3 years ago. I hope it is of some comfort as it was to me:- Rainbow Bridge Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. I don't know how many of you have seen this notice at the top of the general forum but i can't believe what i have just read! The one and only wimpy is stepping down as National Events Organiser.The official reason is as follows " It is with much regret that I (Phil) have received Wimpys resignation as National Events Organiser. Iain feels that its time to let someone else to take the reigns and relieve him of the stress's and strains I am pleased to say he will continue to head up the Bucks Scooby " NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! This is such a shame. He did sooooooo much hard work and worked tiredlessly for us all in this club even though he will be around for events he is going to be a tough act to follow. All i can say is if The great wimpster reads this i just hope he knows how much his hard work has been appreciated by all of us. Thanks wimpy (and Natalie and caitlin as behind every great man there is a great women and family)

ok thanks - just bought myself a gift on ebay - the item is limited edition vase - i had one but sold it as needed cash - felt terrible though as mum bought for 30th so said i would try and replace - thing is they are so rare there is only 100 made and some were broken - but saw this on ebay and struck a good deal

I was'nt at powerstation but Ed went and got on rollers - We think some clubs had a tip off that sessions were being handed out so not many of our lot were able to get a turn. Ed says it was more of a CHAV FEST this time and the girls were well just little girls and nothing to look at!

Congratulations to Pezza for being lit up like a christmas tree! 1st place Stinger - 2nd place - not only with his car back but with the biggest grin going! S.I.D.C Mum - 3rd place BAH HUMBUG TO BAILEY and Edmondo! Shame on you 2! Nice to see James 04 as well and thanks to all for making the effort on what can only be described as a cold and foggy evening.
