hey ed your talking to yourself yet again!

I am trying to gauge the amount of possible attendee's for a sunday lunch meet in Chippenham, Wilts. It would be every other month on the last sunday of the month with the venue just off the motorway junction. We have a lot of members around this area who find friday nights in swindon are just that bit too differcult and i wondered who would be interested in this. If enough members were interested i would be looking at the 1st one being at the end of May so that i could notify the members in this area. Your thoughts would be gratefully appreciated.

Even with a minimal amount it still makes the public aware of this NATIONAL club - so many regional groups but SIDC are national and have benifits to reflect that! It is a shame that not many members from plymouth area are putting names down

We have some spare spaces available on the sidc stand for this event and wondered if any of you would be interested in joining the stand. Details are in the south west regions area and all are welcome.

As many of you will know, the last swindon meet saw one of our lads from tidworth go of on a 6 month service and i told him to make me a promise he would come home safely and keep in contact - well he has so far kept to his later part of the bargain and so i thought it would be nice if anyone who knows him could just write a little note here for him and any other serving scooby lads to keep them informed of what we are all doing. Here is the note i recieved from him:- Hi SP All's well ou here lots of fun blowning **** up. Weather is hot like 30c at the moment but getting hotter. So what graphics is Ed going for know? And a dump Valve??? oh god lol Anyway shall leave it there as can't say much. Take care say hi to the crew at the next me from me. Dave AKA Pain in the a*** Let me start it off - Hi Dave, lovely to hear from you. Ed does finally have his dump valve and his sti lights are now fitted also - he's a bit sad at present as graphics have not arrived and as the weather is nice here at mo we wnted to put them on over the weekend as then they would have 2 weeks to settle before a clean for the next local meet. What are they? Well you will see when the pictures go up mate! New down pipe also ordered and the plastic wind deflectors that were cracked are now off the car! Yep Ed has actually got his hands dirty and did this himself with his son Ian. Anyway nothing else to report so take care and so Hi to all the scooby loving Squaddies over there!
