  1. or try performance creations on ebay,

they are the same as the scoobyworld flaps at 57 quid but every so often the start at 35 quid, i have them on my hawkeye and have no probs with them,

No they're not the same as ours. Our stainless steel brackets are thicker and sturdier and we supply ours out with genuine Subaru clip nuts for fixing (circa £1.10 each from Subaru!) , not plastic push in plugs

I designed both our sets myself from scratch 9 years back.

    Just wanted to clarify that.

  2. just 2 questions

    1. tried fitting flaps to a well lowered car - failed miserably so will yours go on?

    2. how much?

    1. well, they were fine on my 2005 STI that was lowered right down on Eibach coilovers. Without knowing ride height wouldnt be able to say for sure

    2. rrp 59.99, if you want to get a GB going let me know

  3. Thanks probably not a lot of difference , but still not sure. However i am sure i read that you can get a small discount of the price with Performance Creations ?

From what we've seen on customers cars coming into our workshops, our stainless steel brackets are thicker and our kits use 6 genuine subaru clip nut for fixing.

BTW Happy to organise a GB for ours if anyone wants to start one up?

  4. Whoops!

    Sorry, kinda feel bad now!

Didn't mean any offence buddy, just tickled my humour, the name is genius I think!!

The theory is a good idea, I am currently spending a fortune respraying my car thanks to many a stone chip, scratch etc, so from that point of view it is a good idea.......but it's just the thought of putting a bra on my car, just makes me chuckle!

Made me laugh even more when TERZO NEIL asked if it was a sports bra ha ha!

hehe no worries, no offence taken

  5. well theyre certainly not to everyones taste, but obviously they do a very good job of keeping the bonnet chip-free and since we took them on they've proven to be a fairly consistent selling product (although they are never going to be a best seller)

    Hi

Just returned this morn from the bodyshop and they have promised me it will be ready for thursday, so we will try and get it out via courier same day.

We usually quote between 5-10 working days as an estimate for bodyshop work, so its only just in its 10th day (ordered 14.2). We have been inundated with orders, so the bodyshop is unfortunately running a little behind schedule.

    regards

  7. tonydatiger - I'm very suprised to hear that you werent happy with the purchase of the STI6 from us. We always strive to offer excellent products and service, so maybe you could drop me a mail at neil@scoobyworld.co.uk and let me know the details. If you werent happy with the spoiler you could have returned it for a full refund or replacement.

Whilst searching for a supplier of STI6 spoilers several years back, we viewed samples from various factories, and many were of v. poor quality.

The STI6 product we currently sell is of high quality, although it does need additional holes to be drilled, in the boot. As far as I'm aware STI6 spoilers are always in stock and dispatched same day for next day delivery via our courier.

To answer you regarding discounts, we offer SIDC discounts on many products to any member with a genuine SIDC membership number which has not expired. At present we do not offer discounts on standard mudflaps (which are only £64.99) or ready painted spoilers. We also do not offer discounts on items which are already on offer, which might well have been the case with the strut braces and spoilers at the time of your order.

As I mentioned earlier, please drop me an email with your concerns and I'll look into them.

    regards

    Neil
