About Scoobyworld

  1. All of our mudflap kits contain 6 of the genuine Subaru 'clip-nuts' to mount them to the bodywork (despite their small size these are ufortunately pretty pricey from Subaru), along with a comprehensive and robust stainless steel fixing kit and stainless steel pre-cut and pre-drilled brackets. The cheaper ones use thinner brackets or in some cases plastic brackets, different flap material a different method of fixing. We've looked many times at alternatives to the Subaru clip-nuts but simply can't find a component that works as well at securely holding the mudflap kit to the car in all conditions/speeds without marking the bodywork. Unfortunately, the cost of almost every component we use in the kit has risen substantially in the past 12-18months, however we still consider ours to offer excellent value for money - £64.99 inc VAT plus decals. We do offer a lifetime guarantee on our mudflaps (all the time you own the car) and this even covers free spares if your kit gets damaged in someway. We don't currently offer SIDC discount on these kits, but happy to entertain a Group Buy should someone want to start one up For anyone not wanting to fit themselves (its pretty straight forward) we can install for you at our workshops for £35 inc VAT. Hope this about covers it! Neil Scoobyworld Ltd http://www.scoobyworld.com
  2. No they're not the same as ours. Our stainless steel brackets are thicker and sturdier and we supply ours out with genuine Subaru clip nuts for fixing (circa £1.10 each from Subaru!) , not plastic push in plugs I designed both our sets myself from scratch 9 years back. Just wanted to clarify that. Neil www.scoobyworld.co.uk
  3. I think you were probably served by our accounts assistant, she's been covering recently as we were in the unfortunate position of having one of our members on leave and another off sick. Admittedly her product knowledge isn't as good as that of our sales team, so apologies for that. All back up and running as per normal now. With regard the Subaru spats - we've tried fitting our mudflaps to cars with these in place before and run into problems, hence the answer you received. I can only think you've got slightly different spats to the ones we've tried to fit to before. Drop me a pm and i'll get a copy receipt out to you. We had our accounts system upgraded recently, therefore were unable to generate invoices whilst this completed, however all shop invoices would have gone out following business day, via Royal Mail. If you've decided you take your business elsewhere, than that is of course you decision, although we never like to lose a customer. regards Neil www.scoobyworld.co.uk
  4. Ace, thanks for coming to us again. Yes we do MOTs, however we're pretty solidly booked until end March at present. All our service prices are available here http://www.scoobyworks.com/servicing.asp Cheers Neil www.scoobyworld.co.uk www.scoobyworks.com

  6. From what we've seen on customers cars coming into our workshops, our stainless steel brackets are thicker and our kits use 6 genuine subaru clip nut for fixing. BTW Happy to organise a GB for ours if anyone wants to start one up? Neil www.scoobyworld.co.uk
  7. couldn't agree more, unfortunately the Yen/Sterling exchange rate has pushed the price of the genuine STI products off the chart Saying that we too should have some 2006-2007 and 2007-2009 replica lips in stock very shortly for around the same money as Revolution Neil www.scoobyworld.co.uk
  8. no worries, all ours are in black finish. The one for the hawkeye is the genuine STI item, shipped from Japan, hence the price difference cheers Neil www.scoobyworld.co.uk
  9. How do we charge 'way too much' ? Scoobyparts Satin black STI V Ltd spoiler for WRX £139.99 Ours £134.99 Unless I'm missing something thats £5 cheaper, and we've normally got them on the shelf. Neil Scoobyworld
  10. GBSTU70 have spent some time this morn trawling our email servers and found several emails which I believe to be yours, marked as SPAM and dumped straight into our SPAM bin (which we never check), hence not being displayed on our Email client and replied to. Have adjusted settings on SPAM catcher and replied to you with prices. Any further info you need let me know. regards Neil Scoobyworld Ltd
  11. Well, this is very odd, we're receiving dozens of emails daily to the normal address (sales@scoobyworld.co.uk) and normally replying same day. What address have you been using to email us? We were out of the office w/c 6.4 for most of the week having our 4wd rolling road dyno installed and going through training, which did delay responses somewhat. With regard to the seat covers please give us a call and we'll do our very best to resolve it, you shouldn't be out of pocket at all - we've got plenty in stock and orders for these leave us every day, and I'm certainly not aware of anyone awaiting more than a few days for one. If you need an urgent reply to a query give us a call - 01509 266 400 or you can usually pm me on here or Scoobynet - usually check my messages once a day. With regard to the ecominic climate, we've never been busier (many in this industry are reporting same) , and have just taken over the unit next door to us also (houses the new dyno and workshop expansion), but never too busy to answer queries. hope this helps Neil Scoobyworld Ltd www.scoobyworld.co.uk www.scoobyworks.com
  12. Sure, good idea New address is Units 1 and 2 Prince William Way Loughborough Leicestershire LE11 5DD Tel 01509 266 400 Neil
  13. Hi all I'm very pleased to announce that following our move into larger premises early last year and our opening of our workshop, tuning and mapping section we have expanded further and taken on the unit next door to us. Further to this we have today purchased a Dyno Dynamics 4wd rolling road, which is being installed within the next few weeks. We'll be using the rolling road for power runs, mapping and general tuning. As soon as we have it up and running, i'll post up and see if anyones up for a rolling road day at our premises thats it for now, I'll keep you posted Thanks for all your support to date Neil www.scoobyworld.co.uk
  14. we've got an Xmas offer on Ebay at the moment £49.99 (normally £58.99) Neil www.scoobyworld.co.uk
  15. Our premium range of spoilers do fit perfectly to the bootlid, we spent a lot of time in production with these getting them exactly right and they've been thoroughly tested, so very suprised you're having a problem. Few quick thoughts, have you used all of the bolt holes in the base of the STI 8 spoiler? Is it an original bootlid? Have you experimented with the position of the spoiler on the bootlid - i.e. moving it slightly forwards/backwards to assertain the best fit? If you're still having problems give us a call next week Neil www.scoobyworld.co.uk
