Its to do with electronic principal that one strand of wire can only carry 0.5 Amp so the thicker the wire the more individaul strands of wire inside therefore the more Amps it can carry. Impressed myself that time

I had got mine from AWD in perth dont know how much but dont think they where expensive give Andy a call at AWD hell sort it out.

Deffently stick them on here, they probably just need serviced as long as your honest cant see anyone having a problem

Best bets phone round small independants, autoglass are a rip off. they quoted me the same kind of price but managed to get one done for around £100

The P1's didn't come with a number plaque under the ash tray these where added later by owners. Group buys where run on P1OC. the best way is to check if the chassis plate on the N/S suspension if it has been stamped with the cars number from prodrive. Not all P1's run the engine at 50k there is plenty with over 100k and still no noise never mind engine damage. Mine has 52k and is quiter than most new ones. But the best advice is if in doubt walk away there are plenty of good P1's forsale with the documentation to back them up. Plus 10k is alot for them these days. I couldn't get £7500 for mine, 52k 2 owners full subaru history.

I've started to mod my car and straight away the clutch f**ked itself on its first test after exhaust and intercooler fitted. I am a mechanic by trade, but with renault so not sure on the best approach to replacing the clutch on my impreza. What would be the best clutch to go for bearing in mind i am aiming for 350 - 400 bhp in the future, so dont want to have to do it again. Oh and where is the best place to get a clutch or can any of yous supply... thanks si....

Going to buy new exhaust system but need advice. Replacing from turbo back want it to be loud but still sound like a subaru. Any suggestions (prices and places if poss)...

Best to change the exhaust first then get it re-mapped. By changing the exhaust system you are probably doing away with the cats which will free up quite a considerable amount of power also getting it re-mapped with the new ehaust will be like day and night due to the car being mapped for if you could call it fuel economy and to get it throught the emissions laws when it was sold. So getting it mapped will change this to get the true preformance of the engine. Would recommend exhaust and re-mapped...
