The details ...... BBS is going to the dogs .......... and cats home A Charity run has been suggested by Simonwrz The Bath Cats and Dogs Home rely heavily on donations and urgently require specialist dog and cat food. The idea is that we approach local shops and businesses for donations or just go to Tescos and buy a couple of tins. Then we all meet up and at about 2.00ish convoy up to the Bath cats and dogs home at Claverton Down and hand it all over. They urgently need sensitive control food (for cats & dogs), puppy food (wet & dry), light biscuit dog food, senior or light cat food and kitten food. So please try and get as much as you can. This will take place on Sunday 21st February - Meeting at the Boat House, Bath from 12.00 noon. Starting Venue: The Boat House, Newbridge road (next to the park & ride), Bath BA1 3NB If there is not room in the car park we will meet in the park & ride

Bath & Bristol Scoobys would like to invite SIDC to their 1st year Birthday Bash. This will be at Kemble Airfield, near Cirencester, on Saturday 18th July. The event starts at 08:00 with registration and then we have a full day on the airfield to have fun. The event will be an organised by Rich Jones of Launch Motorsport along the lines of previously held events and will include timed sprint course laps, high speed cornering/drifting and 0-60 timed runs (using RaceLogic timing equipment). There will also be a burger van and refreshments available. To give you an idea, check out this link … The cost is £50 for the days use of the track. If you don't want to use the track why not come along and watch only £5 each for spectators and I'm sure you would be able to blag passenger rides. We ask for a £30 deposit to confirm your place by the 5th July. The balance and any spectators can be paid on the day. If anyone is interested or if you need further details, please let me know.
