Iam looking at getting this package from flat 4 online [] http://www.flat4online.co.uk/catalog/produ...05-strut-braces think they also do one for the classics Martin
-
Ok looks like ill be going for prodrive springs and Front and rear strut braces (any advantage of a lower front struct brace as flat four sell a pack for £150) or (£90 with just the front and rear struct braces) and replacing the roll bar links with whiteline ones once mines start to wear out Martin

Shows you the mentality of some road users, i mean to leave it like that and not even reverse back but leaving it like that urgh [:@] Same goes for when you in a carpark and u make every effort not to smake ur door off the car next to you and you get others who just throw there door open hitting the other car grrrr. I didnt goto this garage expecting to see a 22B as iam not looking for one honest lol, was there with me dad looking at other cars and i saw it, for me it was a child hood dream to accully see one of these cars in the flesh so to spk so i did not go over it with a fine tooth comb maybe if i was buying it yes id find all the problems and as you say walk away but id like to leave it as a good memory of a beautiful iconic subaru [] Martin -

my plans are for a fast road car, dont really intend to track the car, thought think i will be on the track on the 22nd of april just to try and understand how to drive it. Generally i drive the car like miss daisy, but enjoy the ocasonal blast up a b-road.
-
That sounds cool, as long as you dont mean the word spin literally :-). If we are going out in cars maybe one of you like to be in my passenger seat give me a few pointers on my driving style as iam still sure 70% of the cars not gripping the way i like is down to me still not driving it right. or maybe a wee coast of a run following me dont know, just reakon i need to be told how to drive a awd lol, spot the boy used to FWD
-
oh dont get me wrong i dont want to spend loads, just want to stiffen the car up a little, and improve the handling. if atol possible if its possible anyone want to give me a wee lift in there car so i can see first hand just how the cars hanndling is changed with such mods Also you can spend ££££ but if you dont have the right rubber on the wheels all the £££ are usless Martin
-
So is there no advantage in getting the front drop links done, iam noticing that two people that have suggested, just doing the rear drop links martin
-
The only reason i was thinking of tein basic coilovers was becaise i know eventually the rear structs are going to start knocking so it weather or not bit the bullet now and just upgrade the entire stucts and try n sell the Sti8 stuts here hehehe any takers lol. but i hear what your saying about the spliteer that may have to gome off whatever mod i do to lower the car Martin

I have to agree with both of the above the 22B was the Ultimate Impreza to have, To aculluy own one of these machines would be a dream come true, giving the choice id take the 22B over my STi every time. Also found nice website about them. www.22b.com Martin -

Thats not a bad weight atol [] Ive always used boxxers only tried the 888 once and found them a little to soft for me mind you it did also make the headange of the bike like a chopper, but iam guessing newer bikes have adjusted headangles to accomodate the 888's Ill be on the M1 this year just waiting on some Goodridge Hoses and a rebuild kit for the levels so i can get my custom brake brake levers on Martin
