Pulse Exhaust Martin
-
Has anyone got fitted to there car the above exhaust system ive been looking at it but dont know if its worth the extra £200 over the TSL Thunder cat system. Would it make any difference or is it just somthing for car park talk??? Martin
-
Slightly off topic, but i put a set of these gas struts on my old vectra and then removed the standard arm for holding the bonnet up. Put the car in for a service about maybe two hours later got a call from vauhall saying that they couldnt open my bonnet as the bonnet holding arm was missing and wanted to charge me £50 notes for a new one, so they were clearly told open the bonnet fully and let goooooo idiots. Do i need Ported Headers, and also my trbo ported? Martin

Yup just want to know the best route to go before spendinding x amount on the wrong product for my tastes. The anti lag sounds fantastic, and i could really enjoy that, will just need to sit and weight up the opions of both systems The advantages of the ecutek is its close, will be a good map for the car and have a reall drivable car and ill get switable map settings. Does the gems have switchable maps ? Martin.

Hello and welcome to the forums mate, Martin
-
My budget iam saving for is 2K on enfine/performance modifications. This is to include, TSL Sports Cat Downpipe, Tsl Centre Section, & TSL Group N Back box, and a Walbro 255 fuel pump. Gems ECU i like the sound of and anti lag, and or like you say Andy F stay 20mins down the road. I am sure each sytem/remap is really good, Maybe moew swayed more to the Andy F remap as iam not thinking of heavily modding the engine, but on the other hand the anti lag could be nice Martin
-
Ok time to sound very silly but what is anti lag do Martin
-
Suppose you could buy the CF fit them and see what you thought, would look fantastic on a black car. They actully give the front a real aggressive look, might have to enguire how much they are.
-
Really its to know if iam better going with an Andy F remap, or if i plan to get more things done latter will i keep needeing remaps for every new bit etc...
-
Remap would be on my 2004 STi Type UK
-
Now they look nice, can you paint Carbon Fibre to match the WR Blue... Martin
-
Just so i can budge my performance mods correctly whats the best route to go down for remapping the subaru. Ive the choice of the following :- 1. Gems ECU 2. Andy F (Ecutek Remap) 3. Motec ECU. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each system Martin

So thats what you were doing then peter when you gave her a lift round the track eh lol. Martin -
Has anyone out there installed DIY brake ducts running from the front fog lamp covers (would remove the covers) and have a duct running to the front brakes either side. Was thinking of trying this to try and keep the brakes nice and cool. Is it worthwhile trying this ?? Martin

Need some advice on what could be a life changing decision. Thanks in advance people. I've suspected for some time now that my girlfriend has been having an affair. The usual signs. Phone rings, I answer, someone hangs up. She started going out 'with the girls' a lot recently although when I ask which girls it is always "Just some friends from work, you don't know them". I always look out for her taxi coming home but she always walks down the drive although I can hear a car setting off. As if she has got out of the car round the corner. Why? Is it not a taxi? I once picked her mobile up just to see what time it was and she went beserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her. Anyway, I have never approached the subject with my girlfriend. I think deep down I just didn't want to know the truth but last night she went out again and I decided to check on her. I decided I was going to hide behind my car which would give me a view of the whole street so I could see which car she gets out of. It was whilst crouched behind my car that I noticed A nail in my tyre. Should I get a new tyre or just get this one repaired? Martin
