About ian_wrxsti

  1. Sorry to bump this up after such a long time, but I have still not heard anything from the police regarding this car and I wondered if anybody has seen the car and this post will jog your memory... Ian
  2. No monitor, just the tower. You would think that only business start-ups cause problems but in our experience the worst are blue chips with their own so called 'design departments'!
  3. I have to add to this (having just looked at what I wrote) I am not normally the type who makes a habbit of laughing at our clients lack of knowledge, as we are all trained and it would be unfair of me to be arrogant in that way. But, it is just a complete lack of common sense by some who really do think that you can bend reality (matrix style) just to keep them happy! Anyway we have all calmed down know and it is back to the monotany of putting together another long catalogue zzzzzzzzzz
  4. I own a graphic design studio just outside of Coventry and among other things we offer a printing service for clients own designed artwork. Somebody has just called up and spoke to one of our staff and the conversation went like this: Client: I have a job for you Us: Can you get it to us via disk or email Client: I am rubbish with computers I don't know how to save Us: Unfortuanately we can only print from print ready artwork on disk or via email Client: Oh forget it then, you are obviously no good at what you do He then hangs up! So we thought no more about this untill 5 minutes ago when the guy turns up with his computer system in the boot of his car expecting us to link it up to our computers so we can print his job for him. My lip must be blue the amount of 'biting my lip' I had to do, I had to leave the room and a have a good laugh before going back in and explaing why we could't "just plug his computer in and print the job", the weird thing is this guy thought we would have no problems at all compromising our network so we could link his computer in. Needless to say the client is still unhappy but has made my day and week.
  5. Details now logged on www.twoc.co.uk Thanks for all your support, just got to find the thieving gits now!
  6. Cheers guys, thanks for the support (and the photo). Police don't hold out much hope of me seeing the car again! insurance is one thing but as all you guys know an impreza is more than an insurance statistic, it was almost part of the family (maybe going slightly over the top there!). I did hear recently that impreza's are getting stolen and then shipped abroad. Might turn vigilante and get a private investigator involved!
  7. Hi All Could everybody please keep an eye out for the car pictured below... Car has been stolen from my garage (not attached to the house) and I am very sad at the moment. I live in the Midlands (Coventry) but the car could be anywhere. Reg: N155 DVV As you will see the car is very discinctive with flushed back door handles and bodykit. Please email on info@printsigndesign.com with any info.
