I will order a H&S centre section with straight through silencer and report result. It shouldn't be as restrictive as OEM resonator. Now age 68, no longer need too much noise!!

Thanks Don, I have spoken to Ian at H&W and he is able to supply a centre pipe with an integrated performance silencer (as I had on our hawkeye with Prodrive system). Gave an enhanced burble without being too noisy).. Ian is unsure as to how a similar arrangement would be on the STi, but I am willing to give it a go and then think about his backboxes. As always, thanks for your expertise and wisdom!! John

Has anyone fitted a Scoobyworld/Hayward & Scott centre section to a 2015 STi and if so, has the sound improved somewhat without too much interference in the cabin? Thanks...

Hi Jacob, Have recently replaced our 2006 50,000 mile superb condition with sensible Prodrive extras/upgrades 2006 WWRX ppp with a 2015 WRX STi. Was happy with a part ex price of £6,000, but now see it on pistonheads with refurbed gold PPF7s @ £10,950! Thus you must expect to sell your excellent example for at least that. From experience of selling previous Imprezas since six first owned since 1997, you may have to wait a while for a geunine buyer and suffer the inevitable time wasters! Good luck! So sorry to hear of your father and at such a young age.. John

Hello everyone Previously known as joshuajames now rejoining having replaced our 2006 WRX PPP with a 2015 WRX STi in white with Subaru full bodykit. Not intending to spend so much on this, our 6th "Impreza", but tempted to replace the exhaust centre section with a Hayward & Scott item with an integrated performance silencer. At a young age of 68, don't need too much noise, but must have more flat 4!!
