thanks guys...no warranty, but sold with the faults.. unroadworthy? dealer won't play ball with refund. he gave option of warranty but we declined in favour of discount because he said the light wasn't a fault, and we didn't know about all the other issues when we bought it... not sold as seen, warranty wouldn't have covered it as issues were there at point of sale?

Hi All Steve from Ludlow. Heard how great these cars are so... Recently we managed to buy....... a can of worms from a dealer? Subarea forester 2.5XTE 06 WR55 EEO.. 135k miles. 9 months MoT, been stood for 3 months It deffo drives like a dream, but.. we missed some obvious things during the test drive..later, after parting with out hard earner muhlar££ (£3000) We found the sunroof with a cracked glass, drivers heated seat doesn't work and cruise control doesn't work (no CC light on the dash) Also the main headlight failed, which he eventually changed having refused to give a refund, it cost him £600!! and we had to pay an extra £200 towards it...but there's the auto levelling warning light lit on the dash, he said its ok. I've rang 2 Subaru dealers, 1 said its an MoT fail, & 1 said its ok (if the lights are level..) I've checked both leveling sensors visually (I'm no auto electrician) and the connector pins are ok, the fuse is ok..but not sure where the sensor cables go, once in the engine (the brain bit) something to plug and unplug, maybe? What do you reckon guys? We dd try to get a refund from the dealer as we only had it a few days.. but he wouldn't.. comments would be useful thanks in advance Bank holiday weekend so no garages open Steve
