I posted about needing advice about a 2008 (new age) WRX yesterday and I've been surprised by the lack of activity on the forum. This is not just about my post but lack of activity in general, where has everyone gone? When I last visited the forum as a paid member about four years ago this site was buzzing everyday with friendly helpful advice and info. Have a TT quattro sport 240 at the minute and still undecided wether to change back to the aforementioned WRX so still would be grateful of any advice before I make my mind up. Thanks, Webbz.

I've had two Imprezas in the past and I ran them without any major issues. After four years away I'm about to sign tomorrow for a 2008 WRX and after doing a bit of homework I've read about this potentially disastrous problem with engine failure. Should I be able to find out if it has had the re map recall easy enough? I'm getting a 3 year dealer warranty though not from Subaru. I was looking forward to getting back into a Scooby but this has worried me. Just how many failures were there, please help.
