About nick280

  1. Good find
  2. Some nice shots there, looked like the tellow evo was doing a nice job of that corner
  3. Nice result there, Andy curtainly knows his way around a Subaru ECU. I wish I'd know pops and bangs could be mapped into curtain revs and I'd ask him for launch control when he mapped mine. I'm regretting that now, never mind, when the 20g goes on, I can have it done then
  4. What year classic do you have?? Is it import?? 93-96 imports, if they can pass the 3.5 CO test they dont need a cat fitted, UK cars 93 on will need a cat fitted regardless, unless you have a friendly tester.
  5. I think the colour is pretty cool, Hang on, it will sell
  6. I've always liked the 635CSi's ever since watching "The Breakfast Club" Make it Gangsta and black the windows and fit one of those sub boomer things and just cruise
  7. Good move, I reckon it will be a great car
  8. Its not a Blitz but I can recommend a Kakumei 3" Turbo back system from flat4online. £600 buys you the decat turbo back system with either STi style straight exit tail pipe or 5" with removable baffle angled exit tail pipe. I choose the Ti style straight tail pipe, and thats it delivered to your door too. Sounds awesome, but beware, it is quite loud in the car @ 70-80mph. Great fit and great quality
  9. Just remeber guys, Nobody liked the Bugeye when it came out if you remeber, hence why Subaru changed it to the Blobeye. I never liked the bugeye, but I'm driving one now, and after looking at it for hours (not continously) I can appreciate what the designers acheived. I do like the Hatch STi, if the pictures are right, the link above isn't showing anything but "Coming Soon" on the page, but I'm sure it will look great a few years down the line. I do like the idea of an Impreza thats looks like this though

    Mapped

If you dont mind me asking, who did what and what has been done to get them figures? Cheers,
  11. OF SIMILAR AGES AFAIK the import WRX engine is a different lump to the uk turbo & legacy engine. Pistons, heads, cams, plug cap coils are just to name a few differances. If you do buy a UK turbo/legacy engine, swap the heads off your WRX engine and use a recommended head gasket to bring compression ratio back to the right level. As far as phisically fitting, it will do. Everything will swap over. Hope that helps.

  13. Dealer servicing aint all its cracked up to be. They follow service schedules and rarely check anything else unless you ask them to. I'd go specialist, they'd do just as good-a-job if not better imo.
  14. I dont know but if you build it up I'm sure I'll get it to fit my car []
