About omar2010

  1. Thanks guys -I think I will go AF after your thought provoking posts. Any thoughts about the above set up? As an alternative I was thinking to source the aforementioned parts thru scoobyworld and put in thru a local garage - and then go for the AF treatment (as recommended on his website) Is the decat down pipe rather than sports cat okay as long as I keep original centre section? Do I need a pressure regulator as suggested by one of the specialist garages near me. I have read up on the forum but still a bit unclear! Thanks to all for the warm welcome.
  2. Thats really helpful guys. Its a very fair / valid point about the engine blowing. The scooby world mapping is custom rather than off the shelf - but I have no idea who exactly would be doing it tbh. They are ecutek ecu authorised (if that counts for anything - I have no idea!) I suppose another option would be to get the scoobyworld downpipe, ? cosworth air filter, walbro fuel pump fitted and just get Andy F to map it for me?(it already has vortex back box) What do you guys reckon? Its imperative that the car runs well as its my daily driver - last thing I need is a badly done job. Thanks again for the advice to the noob!
  3. Thank you guys - appreciate the welcome! I am in Glasgow but travelling down to london soon. I was thinking of doing a scoobyworld stopover. The car already has a vortex back box on it - so I was just gonna go with the rest of their pack. It seems fairly reasonable esp considering custom remap?
  4. Hi has anyone got any experience of the scoobyworld remap / stage 1 modification service (899£) - I have an 2004 sti which is currently completely standard apart from backbox. I am thinking to get this done but new to modding scene. Thanks in advance.
