About oobumblebeeoo

  1. Sorry not the vertical pipe. The horizontal one I meant deeerrrr.
  2. Hi. I have no boost when the vertical pipe in my 3 port solenoid is connected to the wastegate on my td04 gc8 '94 impreza. There is a 1mm restrictor pill in the bottom solenoid pipe.As soon as I disconnect this I get boost at around 4k revs and it throws me back in my seat then I get a jult with fuel cut I think a few secs later andv it's all over again :'-(Had this car a while now and it's never boosted right. Had lots of advice and found all boost leaks.Taken leaky dump valve off and is currently blanked off for now. It's a wrx 2.0l with 3" down pipe. No lambda sensor on standard ecu!?Also fmic. All boost leaks have been cured as I say. Also all gaskets such as throttle body and turbo have been checked. Please please help me.All vac pipes checked are connected Ok too.Putting my black and green plugs on my ecu resetting gives me a code 33 error. You can hear fan spin up and solenoids clicking.I'm lost! !!???
  3. Oh and waiting for my new clocks. Half of them don't work and I have no oil or engine lights at all. Fitting them when they turn up. Tacho works but no speedo. Think the entire combination module is not on the rear of my clocks. The car is a mess on closer inspection. Project time to get her to former glory.
  4. I think it's OBD2 by all accounts. My Zed is OBD. I have only had this a few days. Just bought it :-/ No bottom end problems and I have set my turbo timer to 3 mins. My dump valve is coming off tomorrow and going back to a normal air box as advised earlier. No info about servicing but oil looks clean. Yeah will be about. PM your number. Cheers bud.
  5. Oj89... Engine was running, unplugged the maf and the engine died. I've used some carb cleaner on the intake and also pcv valve. Put the idle back where is was and going to see how it runs. Anybody on here good enough to diagnose my issues with maybe a temp maf and/or ecu before I buy one?
  6. That's some sound advice. Cheers guys. Started to note this lol
  7. Thanks for all of your suggestions peeps. Response it good already. Will probably take you up on your experience/expertise soon. Glad some of you are close. I have cleaned the maf very gently with contact cleaner and blew out all of the coke from the metal grid inside. Not touched idle control valve or tps. But I have slightly made it tick over a bit higher with the idle screw. It's not died just yet since that. Checked the vacuum hoses I can get to and the blitz bov spring is hard to push so that's all good. I don't like touching things where I may cause a worse problem and have no idea about. Read a fewthings on here and to be quite honest it's getting the right diagnosis lol. I have seen bov issues for low boost, ic leaks, dirty vacuum hoses, gunked up solenoids and loads of other things like lazy wastegates or actuators lol. Need help desperate. Really appreciate anything guru. I also just cleaned the air filter with that k&n recharge stuff. Hopefully it's the map. I do have a dodgy tacho and no speedo at all. Maybe fuel filter, fuel rail?? Hahaha list is massive. I have attached my ride. It's an import 94 AWD 2000 Tub The map was done by Corten Millar - dyno dynamics it says on the sheet. Thanks for your help. Will keep reading. Will meet some of you soon. Will PM to meet and try and sort this problem out.
  8. Hi peeps. Ant from Kent here. Good you're all good. Bought a bitch of a troublesome scooby. But it's lush. Sorting out the electrics and need to find out why I am getting boost but no go until the revs get high and then she kind of goes for it. A mate has a scooby and he said it should be alive from as soon as the throttle goes down. It's been mapped at 254. Any ideas? Good with electrics, but no clue about mechanics. I have no smoking turbo.
