About Teggers

  1. Thanks for the welcome guys! You're not too far from me then! I work in Kings Lynn and live near Boston! Good to hear they're easily tuneable - I just cannot leave well enough alone. Re: Evo's - its the early one's I'm looking at - up to a 3. The fewer electronic aids the better as far as I'm concerned. My perfect car is an Ariel Atom... Budget is circa £2500 to £3000. The lower the better as I need a new bathroom for my house and I'm halfway through building a garage/workshop that has space for three cars to be worked on.
  2. Hiya Its time to grow up apparently. My beloved 200sx doesn't cut the mustard any more as a family car (so my better half tells me!) so I need something with 4 doors. An Impreza fills the gap between dad-mobile and fun car nicely. She-who-must-be-obeyed is happy enough with me having one as she would be driving it too. Essentially, my requirements are 4 doors, reasonable boot and must be fast and fun. Its replacing a 300bhp Nissan 200sx so has to compare to that level of performance. Dare I say it on here that I could be looking at an Evo too? Not driven an Evo though and I do like the burble the Impreza's make. I have driven a few (standard and tuned) and been impressed with the driveability so here I am! Keeping an eye on the classifieds - mainly interested in the facelifted classics but I could be persuaded to a bug-eye at the right price. Looks are not important - within budget and good condition are.
