About Washy

  1. Thanks for all your help guys. Had a phone call to say the alarm immobiliser has packed in, so got to get a new system. The old one was that knackerd, Subaru them selves cudnt bypass it either. So including pickup, parts and labour £350. Thought it would of been alot more than that tbh. Should be back on the road Friday, result. Thanks again for your time guys. Regards Andy.
  2. I had a look down there yesterday but couldnt find them, but got their number on line. So will give them a call tomorrow. Thanks mate.
  3. When the chap from AA came out, he checked the signal strenth of the fob and it was really strong. Looks like a problem internally tbh.
  4. Will try and post some pics up on here this weekend mate.
  5. I phoned them today and they gave me a number to try, and that doesnt work either.
  6. Will deffo get some pics on here when ive got time. Prob be this weekend.
  7. Thanks for the warm welcome guys, appreciate it. Ive tried everything possible with the key fob tbh. I was parked in a carpark and never had any issues there before untill now. Theres deffo no pylons nearby from what i can remember. Ive got all paperwork and codes for the car, but none of them work. Looks as tho its been changed prior to me buying it. Looks like a job for Subaru tbh.
  8. Thanks for that. Just a pain having a car like this and not being able to use it.
  9. Thanks for the info Terry. I live opposite Longroad, so will look them up and see what they say. I phoned Subaru in Exeter but nobody was there from the department that i need, so phoning me back tomorrow. A friend of mine takes his scooby to Bowdens, but as mine wont start then im stuck. Will give Ashburton a ring tomorrow and see what they say. Thanks again mate.
  10. Hi there everybody. Im new to this site and new to Subaru Impreza's. I have a 51plate UK300, and had it since June 2012. The car has been spoton untill yesterday. Drove 7miles from my house to town. When i parked up the blue Subaru key fob wouldnt lock the doors so had to use the key. Thinking it was the batteries in fob, i replaced them with new ones, but no joy. Battery on car is 5 months old and still fully charged. In the end AA had to tow me home. The red key symbol still flashes on the dash, but the red flashing light on top of the dash by the clock has not come on since. So basicly im stuck. If anybody has anny ideas what the problem could be, then please let me know. I would be more than greatful. Regards Andy.
