About RB5 408

  1. Just a quick note to introduce myself on here to all the fellow members. I have just recently purchased a RB5 as a project/hobby to drive over winter, and then to restore in the spring to its former glory. This is my third scooby, but I'd always had wagons before this, and I must say that for 13 years old she drives as sweet as a nut. The bodywork is a little tatty, and it has two minor bubbles of rust either side the top of the screen but other than that not bad. The former owner spent money on the engine, updating virtually everything to achieve a rolling road figure of 304.3BHP, which I must admit gives me a huge grin every time I press the LOUD pedal. Anybody on here who lives in the midlands area and would like to advise a fat 40 something on the best way to go about a full rebuild, or just go for hooks on a weekend, drop me a line. P.s this car has a high level adjustable rear spoiler fitted, is that standard? If not, which spoiler is on a 1999 RB5? Cheers
