Owning a GX 02 plate impreza (bugeye) - I'm concerned about increasing the wheels from 15" to say 17" considering they look much better on any impreza newage at least. Just wondering if the change in much greater sized wheels will defect anything such as a read in the speedo or so? I was interested in just getting an upgrade and getting a set of WRX wheels perhaps and go from there but just wanting to know the possible issues before I go ahead and make changes. Apologise if this seems fairly straight forward, just feel as though there maybe some issues. Regards, Dev.

Ok just got a new CD player for the car since I can't live without an AUX IN cable, got it all changed but it doesn't fit through the square shaped gap, any ideas on how to solve this problem? Yeah that's true I'd never turbo it just going to stay NA but reach as much gain for some new HP would be nice, I'm going to find a scooped bonnet, wing, sideskirts, wheels and lowered that'd about it from what I can think of for now.

Yeah I won't turbo it, I'll just push it as high whilst staying NA as possible. Well STi wing, bonnet and probably front bumper and sideskirts and also wheels. I wouldn't choose any companies at all other than OEM things for exterior anyway. Thanks all.

Hello all, Looking to slowly mod this bugeye I have, it's only a GX but apart from exhaust systems, will the wheels, bonnet and wing etc. from a WRX or STi fit ok? I'm obviously looking to enhance it and give it a better outlook rather than keeping the bland distasteful look of a GX. Another thing, from people's opinions, is making it look slightly more like a WRX or an STi a bad thing or in most cases "rice". I just want to make it look better overall and perhaps turbo it or whatever soon enough. I'm just wondering about fitments to make it look that extra bit better is all. I'm considering rota fighters in bronze with the silver GX considering I had them for my old civic. Thanks, Dev.

Hello all, Just bought a Scooby and had to sign up to a forum as soon as possible and it seemed that this is the ideal forum out of them all and really want to see how people progress with their Subaru so I can take tips and not make stupid mistakes etc. I'm 20 so insurance doesn't like turbo'd scooby owners at 20 so just bought the GX for the meantime, feels great and I enjoy it so far, I was a Honda head prior to this but always loved scoobys just scared of the price differences from Honda to Subaru but I'm going to man up and enjoy it especially the AWD just makes me love it alone and lots more torque. So hopefully I'm welcomed to the forum and I've been a forum member in lots of other forums so I won't spam or anything as such. Thanks, Dev.
