But how come it's got an sti engine and box in it as what the engine and box code relate to on vin a wrx engine code from that year would beEJ20G DW4HD. I no its a wrx but I checked vin to my 95sti and plates are the same except one has gc8c47d the other gc8c48d applied model even option code is the same.. So my question as its sti running gear. And light weight panels is it one of these hard to find sti spec wrx's people talk about and not the ra. ????

Hey I've just picked up another classic jap import wrx but the vin plate has gc8c48d(wrx) but the rest as you can see is related to an sti I'm a little baffled on this one. It has original sti 240kmph clocks in it and there the clocks it was imported with I've checked the engine numbers on lump and box they match the vin plate. Any opinions welcomed cheers dan

Hi. I'm living in Northamptonshire I'm looking for a decent mapper to take a look at my Subaru. It has a few issues with boosting and stuff thanks to the previous sticking an ihi turbo and other bits with out remapping it people cutting on cost! So if anyone knows let me no.... Is the ecu in this car similar to my v2 sti where I had to obtain an esl live bored to map the car or is this ecu mappable?? Cheers dan

Hey guys thought I'd say hi just bought my 4th impreza. Nice ukturbo version 6 saloon last of the classics of I'm right. Few nice mods inc ihi turbo nice exhaust had some £££ spent on it but never been remapped.
