Take your time & stick to your budget & be aware of what you may need to spend money on when you decide to purchase the car like tyres although you can negotiate the price down. Make a list of what your preferences are like colour, alloys, exhaust, styling & don't be tempted to compromise your list too much.
Be patient & make sure someone you trust & who is competent will check the car out.
Heard of one garage who sells Impreza's said the car was checked & clear of finance etc but the potential customer ran a check themselves and discovered otherwise! Needless to say they walked.
