Hi All, Quick question, been offered an STI rear spolier from a Blobeye(04) just wondered if anyone can confirm if it will fit my Hawkeye (06)? Cheers

Thanks for quick response Davey When you say a "grey/parrallel import"... Does that differ from any other kind of import? (If so, how ?) I did, but now am not so sure... (and the fact i've haven't sold my good 'old faithful" Blobeye yet, isn't helping matters) Thanks for the suggestion - will def look into, if I do end up selling it. Fat chance... guys a pr*ck ! Claimed to be an "impreza enthusiast" - "I've owned x4 impreza's blah blah blah" yet supposedly didn't know the car (which he'd had for x2 years) was an import... and I found it out in less than a week!

Hi All, Have recently purchased an 06 Hawkeye WRX and just wondered if some could give me their take on the following situation... Whilst in the process of booking it into my local subaru dealer for a service, I've been told the that VIN doesn't come up on there database and therefore it's not a UK car. When I phoned the guy i bought it from (who'd owned it for x2 years and was the second owner from new), he claimed to know nothing about it and insisted it was. HOWEVER, I've now noticed that the address in Warranty/Service booklet of the Subaru Dealer who first sold the vehicle appears to be in Cyprus (Nicos C. Kattamis Ltd) and the "First Registered Date" on the V5 seems to be "x2 months later" than the "Date of Registration" in the in Warranty/Service booklet. All the service history and paperwork seems ok and appears to check out (got full UK Subaru stamps apart from one) The HPI check (which I did before I bought it) came up with nothing other than a reg change from a private plate (which the first owner had kept/had trasnferred off) and nothing was flagged when sorting out the insurance. This is my 2nd impreza, my previous/first being an 04 Bugeye WRX with Prodrive Pack (which I was only looking to upgrade to newer 2.5 Hawkeye model) Am now at a loss as what to do! Is it definitely NOT a UK car? If so, what are the implications? I was even considering getting a Prodrive Pack fitted at somepoint, but am now unsure and am even considering just getting rid!! (which I assume will be at a loss!) All help/advice/suggestions greatly appreciated! Thanks
