Hi all im Moz, im from south west wales but currently live in telford as im in the army, i allways liked subarus since i was a kid watching mcrae and burns smash round the rally stages in them. So last summer after a love / hate relationship with peugeots for about 8 years i took the plunge and bought a Rb5 Impreza number 153 its been brilliant since ive had it, its not perfect but getting there. Its got richard burn's father's signature on the reverse of the sun visor which i thought was a nice touch aswell.
So far ive not done much to it just changed the maf sensor (read some horror stories so didn't want to take the risk) and put 3 new pirelli zero tyres on it.
Plans ive got is to put it back to standard and keep it clean as its in good nick, the paintwork is near mint with no rust or bubbling anywhere, the interior again is near mint with no wear to the drivers seat.
Mechanically its got some niggles which im sorting out, its booked in for a new exedy clutch and a lightened flywheel with pole position subaru specialists in wolverhampton. Next stop will be a new cambelt again for peace of mind.
Once thats done i'll be on the hunt for some Rb5 speedline alloys (its currently on p1 alloys which i'll sell) also i want to find a wr sport (prodrive package) exhaust as its currently got a h & s manifold, straight through decat and a tsl firestorm backbox which again will be sold.
The PIAA lights are in very poor condition so they'll be getting replaced too.
