Hi all, I'm in desperate need of a rear offside ABS relucter ring. The car is currently with my mechcanic who says that it completly snapped when changing all the disks/pads etc. Part number 27550FE000. Anyone got a second hand one or know where I can get a cheap spare asap. Its for the offside rear on a 2002 bugeye STI. Cheers Slev

Ok, I will prob just keep with that then. its covered in black dirt but I read that are washable and reusable. Might sound like a silly question but is it just a case of a quick jetwash of the filter and good old soapy water and its good to put back in? Thnaks

Hi everyone, This has no dealt been covered before. I'm currently upgrading my sti bugeye to a stage 1 level and having it remapped very soon. On inspection of the airbox yesterday I found out that the car already has a k & n panel filter fitted. my plan was to upgrade to a k & n typoon kit. My question, Is it really worth it or is the panel filter as good. pro's and con's for both? Cheers Slev

oh right. So is it best to go for the 225 or 215? When u say dont fit do you mean arch rubbing?

someone else has said either 235/40/18 or 255/40/18. whats the difference in these??? The first part is the nominal width right??????

Hi Guys, Never normally spend my money on wheels as I normally put it under the bonnet but I have gone a bought some XXR 527 Alloys to fit on my 2002 sti bug. 18 X 8.75 5 X / 100 ET 35 CHROME BLACK I have no idea what size tyres will fit without arch rolling etc. Normally just keep standard rims. I do not have a boost gauge as its standard. last serviced less than 1000 miles ago. Thats about as much as i can give!

Any other ideas folks?? I was thinking maybe an injector?

Just had the car ticking over on the drive, ticks over fine but the minute i press on the accel pedal it coughs/stutters then revs through the range fine. it appears to just do it on the first part of the accel pedal press??? Its really bugging me, no pun intended. HELP ME

Afternoon all, I have just taken my 2002 sti bugeye out for a little run and it has developed a small cough/stutter when deaccelerating and hitting onto the power again, once the power is on full there is no problem and runs fine but she just dont feel right? I felt the cough/stutter more on bends too???? Very annoying. Any one got any advice/ideas as to what this could be. The car was serviced less than 1000 miles ago. Mines the same,If its on full boost blasting it then no issues but if im driving normal then it does it. Wonder what it is???

The clutch is high on the car and prob due a change soon but under heavy load it shows no sign of slipping. once i push the clutch to the floor and flip the right foot off the accel pedal the revs still rise abit. I was thinking that there is maybe a problem with the spring in the sbov. I have had many powerful cars in the past with more bhp and never had this problem so im really unsure???? Defo not my driving style

Hi, My car seems to have developed a fault over the last week. Every time i change gear on boost the Revs increase before they fall. I dip the clutch and the revs go up a bit before they fall. I hate it (sounds like a real bad double D clutch) Could this be a fault with the HKS SBOV that game already fitted on the car? Before anyone says it, NO its not my dodgy driving Any idea people??? Hello All. Im not great under the bonnet of this car yet so after some advice. my accelerator pedal has about an inch play when pressed before it engages power. just looked under the hood and it appears there is some play in the cable. How do I go about tightning this so that there is no play in the pedal, its really bugging me. Im thinking that i have too twist some of the bolts under the hood to get the tightness, is this correct????? cheers Slev

Mine only looked clean as I Had just washed it and I live less than half a mile away from the meet. I was proper tired after the long drive back home tho

Its a uk car. No lights come on the dashboard when i switch it.

It just switches forwards and backwards, no spring, just toggle.

Been through all the receipts and cant find anything, The only mods I can see are exhaust, panal filter and hks sbov. I'm really want to know what it is?????
