About SmudgeKing

  1. These two are total opposites. Scooby Projects in Ledbury are excellent, I cant recommend them enough. I will always take my STI there from now on. Ever since they fixed an exhaust for me (leaking push fit system) - Keith extremely friendly and even turned the heating up for my little girl and got her a drink! Keith and the lads there are honest, knowledgable & will treat your Subaru like its there own. Jason Jones in Tewkesbury -totally opposite. I called them asking for some prices for parts for the Subaru. They took my details, didnt even have the decency to call back. Ive heard nothing but bad reviews from them. I wouldnt take your car there if you care about your Subaru.I wont..
  2. Just noticed when driving my 2005 STI home tonight in the dark that only the drivers electric window switch illuminates, is that correct? The others on the drivers side or other doors dont. Havnt really noticed it before but dont drive it that much or at night. If someone could let me know that would be great. many thanks...
  3. Overtook you this morning in a Grey Blob STI gave you a beep. Then got into a tussle with a Audi TT Quattro and completely embarresed the Audi. What a good start to the day....
  4. Ali thats great - really appreciate your help here. Speak soon....
  5. Hi im a newbie here, id be up for it. Im from Tewkesbury- Goofy if your definately going maybe I could follow you up? Give the Scoobs a good run?
  6. Ive got a Impreza STI with TSL 333 upgrade. They use a pulse extraction exhaust system that is basically a push-fit design with 2 tension springs anchored either side of the pipe joins. There are two joins [centre and back] so 4 springs in total. My system is missing the 4 springs, causing a rattle at either end. TSL state it doesnt need the springs, Powerstation say it does. TSL no longer do this exhaust and have told me to see a hardware store. Theyve been useless to say the least. I cannot find spare springs anywhere for the correct length. Has anyone else had this issue? Could I weld the joints to stop the rattle? any suggestions please as this is starting to annoy me. Many thanks
  7. Hi there just to say im a newbie here, bought a 2005 STI last week with TSL 333, looking to meet fellow members locally. Previously owned RB5 152 and after a 4yr Scooby break im so glad to be back!
